George Mikhailovich Brasov - the son of Mikhail Romanov

Georgy Mikhailovich Brasov is a man who is unknown to a wide public community. At birth, he was not recognized as official representatives of the imperial family, but soon received the title of Count. And after the death of the Romanov family, he became the only descendant of Emperor Alexander III in the male line.

Father

Georgy Brasov is the son of Mikhail Romanov, who was the fourth son of Alexander III. At one time (before the birth of Alexei Nikolaevich) he was considered the heir to the throne. After the elder brother Nikolai II learned of his relationship with Natalia Sheremetyevskaya, who was the wife of Lieutenant Vladimir Wulfert, he deprived Michael of all posts and posts. Also, Mikhail and his wife (on a morganatic marriage) and their son George were forbidden to be on the territory of the Russian Empire.

By the beginning of the war of 1914-1918. Michael was able to return to his homeland, command the equestrian division, and later cavalry.

During the revolution of 1917, the emperor, together with his young son, abdicated in favor of Michael. It was between people in an unequal position. A spouse who was lower on the social ladder had no right to claim a higher position due to the marriage.
