Alexei Bugaev is a former Russian football player, who most of all was remembered for playing "Torpedo" and "Tom". To date, he is 35 years old - he completed his career quite early. But when he was still playing, he played in the position of the central defender.

Alexei Bugaev was born on August 25, 1981 in Moscow, where he started playing football, as a result of which he was in the academy of the capital's Torpedo. It was there that he trained all his childhood, during the teenage age he played for youth compositions of different age categories, and in 1999, when he was eighteen years old, the football player concluded a professional contract with the club. Alexei Bugayev, however, was not a great talent, so for a long time he played for the club's double - he made his debut for the main team only in 2001. He played two matches, after which he was loaned to Tom.

The remaining half of the season Bugaev spent in "Tom", having played only six games, but in 2002 he fully revealed. Alexei Bugaev is a football player who performed best at this club, and then it became clear that he still has certain abilities. In the 2002 season, he was a baseman, had 30 matches for Tom, so Alexei's home club was interested in getting him back.

He began to suffer increased pressure, which came with increased attention, but this did not prevent him from holding a successful season in the "Torpedo", going to the field 24 times and even having scored two goals. The following season, he played a little less - only 20 matches, and then it became clear that even with all the abilities of the young player, he did not fit torpedovtsam. So in 2005 he moved to another Moscow club, "Lokomotiv".

But it can hardly be said that this was a successful period - for a whole year the football player appeared on the field only 13 times, so by the end of the season he was already looking for options for continuing his career. And the most attractive was the offer of "Tom" - it was the club in which the talent of the defender was revealed to the greatest extent.

So, in 2006 the "prodigal son" Alexey Bugaev returned to "Tom". Footballer immediately found himself at the base and began to show the previous game of a fairly high level, corresponding to the level of the club. In the first year he went on the field 28 times, marking one goal, and in 2007 he spent twenty matches. The season of 2008 was the least successful - in the course of it Bugaev came on the field in only 9 duels, and after that his cooperation with "Tomyu" came to an end. Career football player instead of going uphill, rolled down, but the "Krasnodar" agreed to take him for two years under his wing.

The last club

In 2009, Bugaev played only 14 matches for the new club with which he signed the contract, and in 2010 appeared on the field even less often - in the sum for two seasons he spent only 20 matches for the club. When his contract with "Krasnodar" came to an end, Bugayev, who at that time was only 30 years old, decided that he will finish his career as a professional football player.

National team appearances

If you look at the career of Bugaev, it may seem that it was not particularly successful. However, there was a period when he was even summoned to the Russian national team - an honor that not all football players are honored. In 2003, Alexei played one match for the Russian national team, but the following year he received a promotion and was called to the main team. In May 2004, Bugayev made his debut for the national team in a friendly match against Austria. And immediately after that a rather unexpected decision followed - the coach included Bugayeva, who was at that time on the rise in Torpedo, but had no international experience at all, in the final bid for the 2004 European Championships. Moreover, in two of the three matches of a major tournament, Alexei appeared on the field - in duels against the national teams of Portugal and Greece. Then Alexei had three more matches for the national team in the qualifying tournament for the 2008 World Cup, but he did not stay longer in the national team.

In February 2005, he played in the last match for the national team - it was a friendly match with the Italian team, which the Russians lost with a score of 0: 2. Since then, Bugayev was not called into the national team.

If we talk about the career of Bugaev, then there is an opinion that his talent was quite large, but he could not fully disclose it. And the reason for this was the problems with discipline, caused by the constant use of alcohol. This led to the fact that Alexei could disappear for a week and not appear in training, which resulted in a far from brilliant career.
