Feeder - advice to anglers

Fans of fishing, especially the bottom, meet the situation when the fish behaves very carefully and in order for fishing to be successful, it is necessary to use sensitive gear. It is for this reason that the feeder equipment has become very popular. It ensures the activity of the bug and transfers the bite on the tip of the rod. The article gives advice on its application and types.

Design and application of feeder equipment

What is feeder rigging and how does it differ from other methods of fishing? The feeder, as a matter of fact, is a universal tackle for bottom fishing. The essence of it is that next to the hook is a feeding trough with a bait to attract fish, and the bite is controlled by the angler himself. The design of the tackle is thought out in such a way that the feeder does not affect the transfer from the hook to the sensitive tip of the rod. In some cases, the feeder is installed in such a way that self-dressing of the fish is obtained. The feeder is a very convenient tackle that can be used in any conditions and catch large and small fish. Throw the feeder on the well-fed hedgehog. Unlike a conventional fishing rod, the feeder makes it possible to place a hook with bait in the treasured hole, the crook and the angler will never leave empty-handed.

Feeder is a rod, specially equipped with a fishing line in the inertia-free reel or braid, feeder equipment and a feeder are mounted on its end. It is important to choose the right rod. There are three types: heavy, light and medium. They differ in power and weight of the trough. There are composite feeder rods and telescopic rods. All of them are equipped with sensitive tips that can be changed. For beginners, anglers are more suitable for middle class fiberglass rods.

Kinds of feeder equipment

There are 3 types of feeder equipment, common in Europe and in Russia. The loop is symmetrical, asymmetric and paternoster. The first two relate to snap-on snap-ins, they can perfectly react and transmit the bites of fish moving in any direction. Due to the minimal friction node, the connection of the feeder to the line provides high sensitivity. The change of leashes passes quickly and the "loop to loop" method is applied.

All kinds of feeder accessories are universal and can be used in any water bodies. But each has individual advantages. For example, an asymmetric loop during casting resists overlaps. A symmetrical loop can hold the nozzle in standing water strictly in the chosen zone of bait. For beginners, the paternoster is more suitable, as the simplest, and, nevertheless, an effective tooling that is minimally susceptible to entanglements.

The equipment for the feeder with the use of imported components of high quality is produced. For novice anglers, snapping kits are intended that are used for bottom fishing. Low-skilled fishermen can independently determine which of the rigs is more effective.

Loop tackle is suitable for a river, where the fish quickly moves with the flow. Taking the nozzle, the fish continues to swim, while the feeder slides in the loop. As soon as the loop ends, the fish, gaining speed, makes a sharp jerk and the hook gets stuck in its mouth.

The feeder for catching large fish is equipped with heavy feeders that can hold the gear on the running water. First, the swivel with a buckle is put on the main line. They are attached to the feeding trough. The leash should be from the fishing line in diameter smaller than the main line. Then on the fishing line you need to put on a rubber bump. It will serve as the protection of the end node of the main line. The shortest leash (ten to fifteen centimeters) through the swivel is attached to the end of the main line. Such rigging of the feeder rod is suitable for catching large-sized fish. You can use bunches of corn, large worms, etc. for bait. Cutting is performed when the line is stretched, and the feeder tops are deflected to the side.
