Mormyshka "Nymph". Rating of non-seeded mormys, feedback

Fishing for mormyshku is an originally Russian way of winter fishing. Where and when this amazing bait was invented, it is not known exactly, however, it has been successfully used by fishermen for many decades not only in Russia, but also far beyond its borders.

What is mormyshka and how to apply it

Classical mormyshka is a small rounded lead, tin or tungsten load with a crocheted crochet. It is attached directly to the main line, often even without a leash. Winter marmalade tackle does not provide for a float, and the role of the bait detector is assigned to the nod (shed), located on the tip of the spike. In fact, mormyshka is a mini-baubling both in shape and in the way it is caught.

The very design of this bait is designed primarily for winter ice fishing. Fishing is carried out vertically using special methods of posting (playing).

Recently, summer fishing for mormyshka is also becoming popular. Catching is carried out from a boat or a steep bank.

Kinds

All mormyshki are classified by the method of equipping for conventional and non-sprinkling (windless). The first type of baits is intended for use with bait: bloodworm, caddisfly, maggots, etc. They are hooked and attract fish visually, as well as their odor.

Mormyshki non-planting do not require any bait. They are made in the form of insects at various stages of their development (nymphs), as well as small crustaceans. A bright kind of bait and skillful game of the angler are able to attract fish better than any bait.

Classification by weight

Also mormyshki it is accepted to classify on weight on:

  • Heavyweight;
  • Heavy;
  • Average;
  • lungs

The best mormyshki for fishing at great depths and with a fast current are heavy and heavy. Due to the fact that most of them are made of tungsten, which is heavier than lead almost 2 times, they have a large weight (from 1 to 10 g) at a small size.

The bait quickly sinks and has minimal resistance to flow. A lead analog of the same weight will be more than 2 times, which in some cases, for example, on a strong current, makes it inapplicable.

Average mormyshkas are most often made of tin and lead. These are the most popular baits for winter fishing. In addition, they can easily be made by yourself, soldering a suitable hook into a piece of tin of the right size and weight. Simple homemade mormyshki are the ideal bait for winter crucian carp and perch, both with bait and without it. They are mainly used for fishing at medium depths.

Light mormyshki is used for catching small plots on water bodies without flow. They are made of plates of copper, brass, silver, epoxy resin, plastic, nylon and are painted in the required color.

Common forms of the bezel

Lawnless baits have so many varieties of shapes and sizes. But they all resemble those that are very reminiscent of insects and crustaceans, which is why most of them have corresponding names. Below are the most catchy mormyshki-bezmotki in the rating order.

  2. "Devil" - mormyshka-nymph of a drop-shaped form with three hooks in the lower part. Can be supplemented with colored beads, beads, pieces of cambric.
  3. "Curved devil" - a kind of "devil" with a curved body, designed for fishing in stagnant water and in a weak current.
  4. "Compound devil" is a mobile mormyshka-nymph, consisting of two parts for catching large fish at great depths and on the current.
  5. "Goat" is a classic light (0.3-0.8 g) bezel with two hooks, reminiscent of a goat's head.
  6. "Ant" - a small mormyshka with one hook, resembling the body of an ant.
  7. "Beetle" is a small fantasy egg-shaped serum without three hooks.
  8. "Dreissena" - popular for perch and roach mormyshka-nymph with one hook and equipment from beads.
  9. "Bug" - low-frequency mormyshka weighing 0.5 g for deep-sea fishing on bream.
  10. "Moth" - ultralight bezmotalka (up to 0.1 g), in shape resembling bloodworms.

Reviews

The most flattering reviews are "uralka." Fishermen appreciate it for its versatility and simple construction. Many of them make such mormyshki on their own. In addition, the "uralku" can easily be re-equipped, adding to its design of self-made suspensions.

Lovers of perch fishing prefer nimble-nymphs in the form of various insects: "devils", "goats", "ants", etc. Not bad and speak about "uralka" too.

None of the self-respecting breamers does not do without a "bug". This mormyshka is rightfully the leader in the rating of baits for bream and large roach. According to the reviews of fishermen hunting peaceful fish, the "bug" can be successfully used for winter crucian carp.

Well, and even without samodelok! Each master praises his creations, comparing them with "useless" purchased.

How to choose the color of mormyshki

The color of the bait is one of the main factors affecting the outcome of fishing. But do not assume that the brighter the bait, the better it will be biting. In addition, the wrong color will scare away the fish.

Most anglers believe that the mormyshka should have a multicolor coloring. To do this, they independently refine the bait, painting it with lacquer or covering with copper (silver, aluminum) foil.

It is believed that on a sunny day, lures of dark colors (black, gray, gray-green) work better, and in cloudy weather it is better to use light colors (white, golden, silver). However, do not focus on this much. It often happens that in one day on a single pond roach or perch peck at anything, but in the other, on the contrary, there is no bite at all, what kind of bait do not use. Therefore, it is better to always have different mormyshkas with you: non-stoppers of different shapes and colors and usual for use together with baits.

As an additional attracting element (replenishment) for the bezel, fragments of small chains, colorful pieces of cambric, beads and sequins can be used. But also these trinkets should have a clearly defined coloring. For replanting, the following color alternations are usually used:

  • Green - orange (yellow) - green;
  • White - black - white;
  • Black - yellow (orange) - black;
  • Red - white - red;
  • Gray - red - gray.

For such species of fish as perch or roach, in the periods of their winter activity there is nothing more attractive than the ornamented nautical mormyshka. A photo of such baits in the collection is presented below.

Best mormyshky for perch

Now let's try to figure out what baits should be used for catching certain species of aquatic vertebrates. Let's start with the most popular fish for winter fishing - perch. Given the lifestyle of this prickly predator and its culinary preferences, bait should be chosen not too voluminous and lively. The choice of mormyshki for perch in the winter also depends on the month, the strength of the current, depth, weather and time of day.

In the first place, "devil", "goat", "bug", "uralku" of medium size, weight and discreet colors are more often used. For fishing at a depth of more than 4 m and on a strong current apply heavier options. In the deaf-mowing, small baits are preferable. Often mormyshkas for perch in winter additionally supply with replicas of beads of red, black, yellow color.

Non-dredge mormyshki on roach

This fish, in contrast to perch, prefers bright coloring, despite the time of year. For fishing on the roach, small winders of the type "ant", "devil", "moth" are used. For large individuals there are specialized catching mormyshkas "tenka" or "jellyfish".

When catching this fish on the first ice, some anglers practice the use of several different winders fixed on one line. If there is sufficient experience in this way, you can get a good catch, but for beginners this solution can cause tangling or breakage of the tackle.

Bezmotki on bream

Mormyshki on bream are different from other models in larger size and shape. In addition, the color here does not play a major role. Seduction in winter, this fish can only be an ideal bait game. The best bezmotlkami are:

  • "bug";
  • A large "uralka";
  • "Compound devil";
  • "Curved devil";
  • Large jellyfish.

Such mormyshki on bream are successfully used and in the summer. The most effective is the "bug". Its flat body, resembling a miniature spinner, when performed correctly, performs unique vibrational movements both vertically and horizontally.

Catching mormyshki on crucian carp

Carp, although it is a fish unpretentious for food, in winter, because of the lack of vegetation, feeds on animal food: worms, insect larvae, small crustaceans living in bottom silt or sand. Therefore, most often in winter it is caught by ordinary mormyshki using the bloodworm, caddis flies, rainy moths, etc. However, some anglers practice catching crucian carp at the windshield.

For this type of fishing, weighted baits are used mainly from tungsten with a diameter of 0.1-0.17 mm. Specialized mormyshki on crucian carp in most cases have a body of red or orange color, but it is not necessary to neglect other colors.

Given that in winter this fish leads a bottom way of life, it should be caught at maximum depth. And the greater the distance to the bottom, the brighter the mormish should be. The best bezmotki for crucian carp - "uralka", "bug", "ant", "goat".

Independent manufacture of non-directing mormys

As if the assortment of baits was wide, amateur fishermen always made and will make their own. Very often homemade mormyshki are made in the image and likeness of the factory, but taking into account the personal experience of each fisherman, as well as the features of the reservoirs where he fishes.

Usually, winders are made of lead and tin. It is almost impossible to melt tungsten at home. For the independent production of the simplest mormyshki will need:

  • Hook (single, double or triple);
  • A piece of tin, solder or lead;
  • A small piece of thin copper wire (for fastening the line);
  • Acid for soldering;
  • Soldering iron;
  • Set of files;
  • Fine sandpaper;
  • awl;
  • Nail polish (color to choose from);
  • Beads, sequins, pieces of a multi-colored cambric or plastic.

Melting of tin or solder can be a conventional soldering iron, however, for lead, a model with higher power will be needed.

To start with a copper wire, you need to make a loop, for which the mormish will be attached to the line. Usually it is folded in half, and the ends are twisted and cut to the desired size.

Determined with the size and shape of the hook, you need to treat its forehead with acid. The same procedure is carried out with a loop. This will degrease the surface and allow solder to fuse them more reliably.

Next, the loop is applied to the hook hook and fixed. Using a soldering iron, apply a drop of molten metal to the place of their connection and allow them to cool. Continue to apply solder, until the metal fuses the fore and loop to the desired size and weight. After cooling, you can start processing the future mormyshki nadfile, giving it the right shape. To avoid unnecessary hooks on the fishing line for the body of the bait, it must be carefully sanded with fine sandpaper.

Next, varnish is covered with a body of mormyshka. Here you can use several different colors and your own imagination, without passing, of course, the line of reason. Supplement the appearance of the lure with colorful beads and pieces of plastic, pushing them onto the hook.

Here such simple way is made the elementary mormyshka-nymph. A photo of a homemade bezel is shown below.

Fishing techniques

Using mormyshk without bait, you need to own a certain technique of its wiring (game). Without this, even the most attractive and expensive bezmotlka will be just a piece of metal.

Experienced fishermen know dozens of different types of wiring, but for a beginner it will be enough to comprehend a few simple tricks.

  1. The bait is lowered to the bottom, several impacts are made on its surface, and then it is raised with low-amplitude twitches to a height of 20-30 cm. After this, the process is repeated.
  2. Mormyshk submersed to the bottom, stand for several seconds, after which they begin to slowly raise, stopping for 1-2 seconds every 10-15 cm.
  3. Immersed in the bottom of the bezel is smoothly raised, making small horizontal jerks with a jig.
