Eye drops "Vizin": instructions for use

Drops "Vizin" produced by the famous Canadian company Keata Pharma Ink. The active substance in them is tetrizolin. In addition to this drug, it is a part of eye and nasal drops "Oktilia", "Montevizine", "Berberil N", "Tizin", "Visoptin" and others. This substance belongs to the class of alpha-adrenomimetics, providing a local vasoconstrictive effect and effectively removing the mucosal edema. Its advantage lies in the fact that the effect of its application comes almost immediately, after a couple of minutes, and remains after that for a long time (up to eight hours).

Tetrizolin is used in the treatment of the common cold, irritations of the conjunctiva, allergic conjunctivitis. So, eye drops "Vizin", the instruction to which contains a list of indications for their use, are successfully used to eliminate redness (reddening) of the mucous membrane of the eyes. They stop lacrimation and relieve swelling, reduce the formation of intraocular fluid. Drops "Vizin" (the instruction describes their properties) completely eliminate the irritation of the mucous membrane of the eyes, caused by the action of bright light, polluted air or water. They effectively cope with the symptoms of allergies, manifested, for example, as a result of using substandard cosmetics or because of seasonal exacerbation of the disease.

It should pay attention to the contraindications to the use of this tool. Thus, eye drops "Vizin" (the instruction emphasizes this) can not be used to treat children under two years old. It is undesirable to use them during pregnancy. With ischemic heart disease, elevated blood pressure, hyperthyroidism and diabetes, you need to use this remedy very carefully. This remedy can be recommended to those who often suffer from dry eyes, caused by prolonged reading, working at a computer, driving a car. Use it three to four times a day, one to two drops. After they are instilled, it is desirable to blink to distribute the liquid evenly over the surface of the eye.

Before using this drug, contact lenses need not be removed: they do not harm a drop of "Vizin clean tear". However, despite the harmlessness of this remedy, his individual intolerance is also possible: it can be manifested by a feeling of discomfort and burning, reddening of the mucous and puffiness of the eyelids. In this case, the use of the drug should be discontinued and consult with your doctor.
