Do you vaccinate children? In our country - do

Is it necessary to make a child vaccinated? What consequences can result from the refusal of mandatory vaccinations? What complications are possible with consent? In addition, when and what vaccinations do children do for a year? A hail of these questions falls on the young mummy already in the hospital, not to mention the first months of her baby's life. In our country, vaccination is the main preventive method by which dangerous infections such as smallpox, tetanus of newborns, poliomyelitis can be prevented. Also, vaccination significantly reduces the risk of childhood infections, leading to non-pediatric consequences - pertussis, measles, rubella, diphtheria and mumps.

All babies born and living in large cities and megacities are at risk of viral diseases, so vaccinations for children in such conditions must be carried out necessarily. Only this helps protect the weakest members of our families from dangerous infections. In addition, it should be remembered that the blank vaccination sheet is the reason why the child will not be admitted to some children's health facilities, and also will not allow entry into many countries.

What kind of vaccinations will children need? In Russia, the fight is fought against 9 infections: tuberculosis (the so-called BCG), diphtheria, poliomyelitis, measles, mumps, rubella, tetanus, whooping cough and hepatitis B. The vaccination schedule begins on the fourth day of the baby's life even in the hospital Vaccinations are being made against tuberculosis and hepatitis B), and continues throughout the first year of life. The following vaccination calendar dates are 3 months when the first vaccination against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis and poliomyelitis is carried out, which will be repeated three more times, every 45 days. Further revaccination is usually performed at the age of 18 months and continues with equal intervals up to 14 years.

It should be noted that the doctors pay the greatest attention to the prevention of tuberculosis, for which vaccinations are given to children under the age of 15 years each year. With 12 months of life, doctors are starting to apply live measles, mumps and rubella vaccines. Sometimes, if the kids feel good and the vaccinations do not cause negative reactions, specialists can prescribe combined vaccines. Otherwise - for often ill children - additional vaccinations can be used.

Vaccinations for children in our country are mainly made by vaccines of domestic production, but also by imported preparations that are developed taking into account all the necessary requirements, act more effectively and practically do not cause the baby allergies. Young mothers should remember that any vaccine purchased by them must necessarily have a Russian certificate of conformity and quality.

An important stage of vaccination is preparation - if, in recent times, the children have suffered a viral or infectious disease, then the vaccinations to the children in this case are not made before the treatment is fully completed and recovery will come. And even after that, doctors recommend waiting a month, after which you can follow the appointed calendar. In addition, vaccination should be postponed until the end of autumn-winter epidemics of acute respiratory infections and influenza.

Of course, we can not fail to note the fact that not all vaccinations are equally safe, and, therefore, can lead to some consequences. However, most of the consequences occur if the vaccination was not performed in time or without the supervision of a pediatrician. To prevent this, the young mother should remember for herself the rules of the vaccination calendar and, if the doctor, in their opinion, does something wrong, refer to other specialists.
