Perhaps, there is no such principled, frightening and powerful profession in our country as the tax inspector. Every businessman comes to him, he knows the incomes of every citizen of the Russian Federation and knows about us the most secret: who, how much and what he has for his soul. This date was not chosen by chance - in 1990 it was on this day that the President created the first authority that started to administer taxes of citizens. It was called at that time "State Tax Service of Russia."

This name was retained by this department until 1998, when in connection with the development of entrepreneurship and the use of the experience of advanced states, it was decided to transform it into a profile ministry. But the holiday day of the tax inspection has survived.

Officially, this date was fixed only 10 years after its inception. Tax officials had to wait for the millennium, so that the President of the Russian Federation approved it by his decree. But they did not interfere with celebrating their Day of Tax Inspection Workers . Like other office workers, these specialists can organize corporate parties.

In 2000, this holiday was officially established on October 30. But after five years the decision was overridden by the next head of the country. He considered that July 2 was a more suitable day for the tax service. The Belarusians agreed with this.

They historically have this holiday on the first Sunday of July. Well, last year this decision was canceled. And now in Ukraine, the Tax Service Day is celebrated on March 18. More precisely, they will only celebrate, because the presidential decree was issued only a couple of months ago. But in Azerbaijan, tax officials accept congratulations in February, 11, as their head ordered.

What is remarkable about this holiday?

The day of the tax inspection of 2013 was marked in the Russian Federation by congratulations from the country's leadership, appeals from the heads of tax services on the ground to their subordinates. But here in the media this day was not significantly illuminated - neither on television, nor in the press, there were no large-scale congratulations.
