Contact, atropic, allergic dermatitis: symptoms and treatment

Dermatitis is a contact acute inflammatory skin lesion arising from the effects of irritating factors of a biological, physical or chemical nature. There are the following dermatitis, the symptoms of which have similar symptoms.

The first group includes contact dermatitis. Symptoms of the disease occur with direct contact with the stimulus. The degree of severity depends on the nature, concentration and duration of the stimulus effect on the skin.

These diseases can take an acute and chronic form. In acute dermatitis, patients suffer burning, itching and pain in the affected areas of the skin. Its manifestations arise as a result of friction, pressure, extreme temperature conditions, sunlight, contact with poisonous plants or chemicals. The chronic form arises from the long-term nature of the action of non-strong stimuli. In cases of acute dermatitis, they are most often treated with manifestations as a result of sunlight and scuffing of the skin. Chronic dermatitis, the symptoms of which are not so pronounced, are manifested in the form of a hazing of the skin with horny thickenings.

Atropic dermatitis is a very common form of the disease. Inflammatory processes of the skin appear as a result of genetic causes and have a chronic form. These dermatitis, the symptoms of which begin in early childhood, are popularly called diathesis. Allergens enter the body of the child when inhaled (dust, pollen) or with food. Atropic dermatitis can disappear with age, however, in some cases, it accompanies a person all his life. In adulthood, the disease takes the form of an eczema and neurodermatitis.

And one more form of the disease is allergic contact dermatitis. Symptoms arise from direct contact with the allergen, and may not appear immediately. After repeated exposure of the allergen to the skin, bright redness begins, and edema develops in the areas of dermatitis. At the next stage, bubbles arise, which eventually burst, leaving on its place wet erosion. When the inflammation fades, the remnants are scales and crusts that act as signs of eczema.

Diagnosis of dermatitis: how to treat the disease?

Firstly, the fight against the disease will not bring a result unless the irritant causing the dermatitis is removed. The allergist must perform the necessary tests to determine the cause. Inflammatory processes are removed with the help of local or general medicines. Patients are prescribed drugs to enhance immunity. For local treatment, ointments and various powders are used, which disinfect and dry the foci of skin lesions. If the disease started as a result of exposure to a food allergen, the doctor develops an individual diet for the patient. With contact dermatitis, it is necessary to exclude the effect of the stimulus.

Sometimes it is effective to treat dermatitis folk remedies.
