Codes for intercoms - a means of protection

Already for several decades, such a device, as a door phone, protects many tenants of apartments. This is a very convenient device, as it reduces the access of undesirable persons to homes. This reduces the number of apartment thefts and spoilage in the interior of the house (stairwells, cellars, and so on). Codes for intercoms allow you to program calls to internal numbers of apartments. It is very convenient, and thus you can protect yourself from unwanted situations.

Doorphone device

This device, as a rule, is a system that includes several nodes:

• The call panel. This device is designed to be antivandal and mounted before the entrance. A numeric keypad (where you can dial codes for doorphones), backlight, smart card or key reader, and a hidden camera are installed in the panel.
• Subscriber device. It serves to ensure negotiations between the owner of the apartment and the guest. In the presence of an external camera, this device is equipped with a screen on which you can see the identity of the visitor.
• Switch. This device is installed only in multi-apartment buildings. It serves to connect during negotiations, sends a signal to the apartment and so on.
• Constipation device. This unit allows you to control the lock on the front door with the help of a doorphone. At the same time, a signal is sent to the electric lock from the internal device.

Types of doorphones

There are several types of this device:

• Multi-and low-cost intercoms. The first option is a device that provides protection for multi-storey residential buildings, the second type is used, as a rule, in private out-of-town facilities.
• Digital devices. The peculiarity of these devices is that for each subscriber there is a certain dial-up number. Also, the installation is simple and resistant to burglary. In this case, codes for intercoms are dialed for dialing.
• Analog (coordinate-matrix) intercoms. This type of device is the most common, although it has a number of shortcomings. For example, installing a system of this type requires more costs; Also, if a device of one subscriber fails, other apartment owners may also fail.
• Audio and video intercoms.
