Chicken manure: use

Chicken litter is one of the complex and universal organic compounds that are obtained by high-temperature drying. As part of such a fertilizer is the necessary complex of micro- and macroelements, as well as active components, which are necessary for the qualitative growth and nutrition of plants.

Chicken manure has a pH of 6.5, and the proportion of organic matter in it is 70 percent. If this fertilizer is applied systematically, it will enrich the soil, provide the necessary supply of nutrients, promote the development of the desired microflora in the soil, provide useful elements to the root system of plants. Chicken droppings will increase their frost resistance, and also improve the processes of soil formation. The above organic fertilizer, which was purified by high-temperature drying, does not contain harmful microorganisms, pesticides, toxic and radioactive elements. Using chicken droppings, it is possible to minimize the processes of root rot formation and appearance of some types of pests of agricultural plants, including carrot and meadow flies and Colorado beetle. Due to the high concentration of this fertilizer, it is thirty times more economical than manure.

Chicken droppings are highly effective against all plants, fruit trees and shrubs that are found on farmland.

Fertilizers are used in the period of spring or autumn processing of land, with the litter of the chicken thoroughly flush the surrounding soil and the rows between the rows.

Chicken litter dry is often used as a fertilizer during the active growth of plants. However, in small farms and large poultry enterprises, there are problems with the processing, use and disposal of manure, since it is known that this fertilizer harms the environment. However, the question of how to breed chicken manure is not so acute compared to the problem of its utilization.

Since such a fertilizer poses a threat to the environment, it is taken to open landfills, and such actions are punished by the authorities with huge fines. In closed quarries, the destruction of chicken manure is much more expensive.

As for the processing of this fertilizer, today there are two main methods of its "conversion". The first option involves composting and subsequent organization of methane fermentation. In the second variant fertilizer is used as a biological fuel on which heating and water-heating objects function.

The first method is simple from the technological point of view, however it requires a huge amount of time and does not meet the criterion of profitability. The second version of the use of litter, on the contrary, provides savings in comparison with conventional fuels. The ash formed after heat treatment is an excellent fertilizer, which, moreover, does not pose a danger to the environment.
