Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. System requirements for all three parts

System requirements are the most important information for a gamer who wants to download or buy a game. After all, it is in this small tablet that all the indicators are laid down, according to which you can determine whether you will be able to run the game on your computer or not. Every time a new interesting game comes out, gamers are eagerly awaiting the announcement of system requirements to understand whether they need to spend money and time, because a particular project can simply not run on a computer that does not meet the requirements. Probably, and another outcome - the game can be very slow, which will not allow you to fully enjoy the process. For example, you can take a series of Call of Duty, and specifically - parts of Modern Warfare, the system requirements were quite high for that time.

The "Col of Duty"

This series began its counting more than ten years ago, in 2003 - that's when the first part of the shooter came out, which then gained such incredible popularity. The first games of the series were devoted to the Second World War, in them the gamer was assigned the role of a soldier of the Allied forces, and in this role he had to go through certain stages of the war.

In the course of the game, the story unfolded, telling about some real and fictional characters, about the hardships of wartime and many other relevant topics. After the first part, there was a second, and then a third, which once again confirmed the incredible popularity of the series. But even then the developers began to think about changing the direction of the narrative, because one can not stamp games on the same theme and remain successful. Therefore, the idea arose to transfer the "code" at the present time, which led to the creation of a new direction in the series, of which the system requirements will be discussed.

But before we start talking about Modern Warfare, the system requirements of which will be described in detail, it is worthwhile to quickly look at what machines should have been for those who expressed a desire to play in the first part.

The requirements of the first three parts of the "code"

In those days, system requirements were very gentle, if compared with modern developments. So, the first part of the "Kol of Duty" required only 600 megahertz with 128 megabytes of RAM. What can we say about the video card, the memory of which was supposed to be not 32 megabytes. And at the same time the fully installed game took only 2 gigabytes of hard disk space. It is difficult to imagine such demands in the present, because now even computers of such power are no longer produced, as are the components for them. And in comparison with Modern Warfare system requirements for the first three parts will seem to you a real paradise.

The first part of the modern trilogy

It all started in 2007 - it was then that the developers decided that it's time to tie with the themes of World War II, and the light saw the first part of the new trilogy. Initially, this project was not conceived as a trilogy, so the name turned out to be Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The system requirements for this miracle of the game thinking have significantly increased compared to the projects of the past. The processor now had to give a frequency of at least 1.8 gigahertz, which is three times higher than the first part of the original trilogy. RAM also appeared to be very impressive - as much as 512 megabytes. Everyone remembers that the first part required only 128, so progress is noticeable.

Naturally, the reasons for this were quite understandable - the new game was externally many times better, more realistic and more attractive than the old games. In many respects it became possible due to the use of a video card for 128 or 256 megabytes. For Modern Warfare, the system requirements seemed clearly overstated, but in fact they justified themselves. Many people even upgraded their computers to install this game. But they did not expect that the next parts will progress at an accelerated pace.

Continuation requires even more

The second part of the game gave gamers not the most pleasant surprise. System requirements Modern Warfare 2 were just sublime - the same processor was supposed to support no longer 1.8 gigahertz frequency, and as many as three. Naturally, in order for the game to work on the computer, this computer would be easier to replace. The memory ramp has risen to the level of 512 megabytes, and the graphics card now consistently required 256 megabytes. But there was a special place for free space, which was required to install the game on the hard disk - an incredible 16 gigabytes. Previously, more than twenty games could be recorded on this disk space, but now it's a drop in the ocean. For the second part of Modern Warfare minimal system requirements were not set, so all had to adjust to what is.

Final part

In the last part of the trilogy, developers decided to regret gamers. Thanks to the development of technologies, it became possible to improve the game without increasing its requirements. This is how the Warfare game became available to the general public. The system requirements of the third part obliged the gamer to have only 2.4 gigahertz frequency, 2 gigabytes of RAM and 256 megabytes of video card.
