Birth and childhood

Bruce Paltrow was born on November 26, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York. The boy was quite an active child, who was very fond of climbing up on the table and loudly telling poems.

His desire to become an artist was realized in the fifties. For the first time on the stage of the theater Bruce came out in his school years. The future of the boy has already been predetermined. He began his career in one of the local theaters of Brooklyn. During the sixties he was completely engaged in theatrical activities. The audience loved him and always applauded him after the performance.

First steps on television

In the early 70's, Bruce Paltrow tried to break through on TV. At first he tried himself in the arena of writing scripts. It should be noted that the debut was successful, so Bruce decided not to stop there. Later he was invited to write scripts for the film company Screen Gems.

Subsequent projects

In the aftermath, Bruce Paltrow became the head of the White Shadow project, broadcast on CBS from 1978 to 1981. The next task was to write a text for the series. Elsewhere. The film was broadcast on the NBC channel from 1982 to 1988.

Work on MTM channel

After successful debuts, Bruce Paltrow continues to write lyrics for the ABC and NBC channels. Further, he is invited as an executive producer for the MTM channel. This time the project is called St. Elsewhere. The story tells of one of the Boston hospitals in which interns are interned. This series was broadcast on the channel MTM and received the recognition of the audience.

But he is again offered to work already on the series Tattinger's. Bruce has to move to New York. The picture was shot in 1988 in one of the Manhattan cafes. At first, the show really liked the audience, but in half a year the ratings began to fall sharply. Bruce immediately decided to give his work a second life, slightly tweaking the script and assigning a new name - Nick & Hillary. But here Paltrow was expecting a failure, the idea fell through.

After the first disappointment, Bruce returned to writing the script for the comedy series Home Fires, which in 1992 was released on the television screens of NBC. Then followed the work on the project called The Road Home. In this case Bruce acts as a producer. The story tells of Karen Allen, who returns with his family to rural life in Northern California.

The next successful work was the series "Slaughter Division", in which Bruce made a co-producer. The project was broadcast on television from 1993 to 1999. The audience liked it very much, that's why it existed for such a long time.

The story tells of Detective Giardella, who, together with his team, is investigating various crimes. In addition to the murders in the picture, the love line is also touched.

Personal life of the actor

Bruce Paltrow and Blythe Danner met on the set of Tattinger's series and after that they never parted. In the marriage they had a daughter Gwyneth Paltrow and son Jake Paltrow (American director).

It should be noted that the relationship with the children of Bruce was just wonderful. In particular, this concerns the daughter of Gwyneth. The father of the soul did not see in his girl, was proud of her established career and the ability to get used to any role.

Death of Bruce

Unfortunately, Bruce Paltrow is no longer among us. He died in 2002, October 3, from the complications he suffered after pneumonia and laryngeal cancer.
