Boilers of long burning - a guarantee of heat in the house

The policy, which presupposes a constant increase in the price of traditional energy sources, pushes to find worthy alternative types and forms of obtaining thermal energy. One of these types is the boilers of long burning. They are not only able to provide the desired microclimate of any room, but also in terms of their technical characteristics and ease of operation are not significantly inferior to conventional fuel boilers (natural gas, electricity).

Pioneers and a striking example of this type of equipment are long-burning boilers Stropuva (Stropuva). The history of the trade mark reaches the end of the 90s. The Lithuanian engineer Edmundas Strupaitis, using innovative design and technological solutions, has developed a completely new type of solid fuel boilers. Later, this development was patented and put on production. For today more than twenty models of different manufacturers working on the basis of the given patent are issued.

The main advantage provided by solid fuel boilers is the running time from one fuel charge, which reaches 30 hours for wood-burning models, and for universal ones - five days. In developing the design of the equipment, engineers especially stressed their efforts, since this parameter is considered to be the main disadvantage of solid fuel boilers (the burning time of most models is not more than twelve hours) and to a large extent affects the demand on the part of the consumer.

A feature of long burning boilers is the method used to burn fuel - the upper combustion, which consists in the gradual burning of the load in a direction from above - downwards. Thus, a large work term is achieved and a more gradual release of heat energy without jumps and drops. This principle can also be checked at home. If you ignite two matches at the same time and hold one up with a flame and the other down, a match with a flame at the top will warm up a lot longer.

Solid fuel boilers in their design assume the use of two steel cylinders, located one in one. Between them there is a heated liquid - a heat carrier (can be used as usual filtered water, and special high-technological structures). The inner cylinder is a chamber for loading fuel and a combustion chamber. In the upper part of the combustion chamber there is an intermediate chamber for air heating and a telescopic mechanism that delivers this air to the burning point. Since there is no bottom in the boiler, it must be installed on a prepared concrete base with a minimum thickness of 10 cm.

In addition to the operating time, long-burning boilers have another equally important advantage - a high level of efficiency (efficiency), which reaches 91%. And this means that this share of thermal energy will be used for useful use, heating the heating medium of the heating system.

Solid-fuel boilers of long burning do not depend on electricity, thus enabling the organization of a completely autonomous central heating system. The temperature of the coolant is maintained in a given range by means of a mechanical thrust regulator. This property is especially important in remote regions or places with frequent power outages.

Thus, in this article we have considered the main advantages of long-life boilers and revealed their unconditional utility. Confirmation of this can serve as an ever-growing level of market consumer demand and positive feedback from users.
