December 15 last year finally happened a long-awaited event in our car industry - Togliatti car factory launched a conveyor for the new car "Lada X Ray." The car's description and the actual serial version itself were officially declassified at the end of August at the Moscow Off-Road Show, however, with only one amendment: only large dealership representatives knew about this.

Well, the general public was allowed to get acquainted with the intricacies and peculiarities of the model only in November, and at the same time the final version of the performance, which Lada X Rei has today, was announced. The description of the new car is somewhat similar to the previously presented "X Ray Concept" (2012), he just asked the main design tone for the further development of the "Lada" series.

Exterior

The new car looks very attractive, quite modern and fashionable, and all thanks to the renewed interior and exterior. For the car "Lada X Ray", the body profile is more important than ever, because consumers have long become bored with the appearance of past generations, not unlike each other. But this model breathed new life into the image of the domestic car.

High landing of the hatchback and the raised forehead, are executed in original and remembered "Х-style". The body on the perimeter is decorated with chrome zigzags, which just remind the letter X. Optics auto is equipped with beautiful LED lights with integrated chains.

The five-door sides of the car "Lada X Ray Cross" are crowned with easily recognizable punches in the X-shaped style, and the sloping roof adds to the structure a bit of dynamism and all the same freshness. The windshield has a competent inclination, and the overhangs are not as wide as in previous versions, which makes the car more sporty. Available at the car "Lada X Ray", the characteristic of the stern allows to designate the model as an extremely smart and neat car: stylish and at the same time sophisticated lanterns, a compact boot lid and a beautiful bumper with a rather powerful lining made from high-quality plastic - all this makes it attractive and Desired.

AvtoVAZ is positioning its car as a high-end B-class hatchback, and the clearly recognizable SUV style only confirms this definition. Even looking at the responses of the owners of "Lada X Ray", we can say that they all unanimously consider themselves full owners of the crossover.

Dimensions

The new Lada X Ray Cross has a length of 4164 mm, a width of 1764 mm and a height of 1570 mm. The average distance between wheel pairs is 2592 mm. The ground clearance of the "X Ray" is approximated to the crossover size, and not to the passenger car and is 170 mm at the time of full loading and 195 mm light (in the marching state).

Interior

At the car "Lada X Ray" the salon looks quite presentable, noble and "adult". The modern toolkit is unpretentious in its architecture, but more than informative due to the use of the already proven "three wells" design system.

On the right side of the panel is a multifunctional block of the on-board computer. The steering wheel is made in four-spoke stylistics with a pronounced relief, and more expensive modifications are equipped with multimedia system control keys.

The front panel of the car is reserved for an information and entertainment complex with a 7-inch screen, which is surrounded by peculiar, but at the same time, beautiful ventilation deflectors. A little lower is a small module responsible for climate control. Concludes the decoration of the front panel shift lever.

It should immediately be noted that all these newfangled "lotions" are only available in the complete "Lada X Ray" configuration, otherwise the model is equipped much easier - a simple radio tape recorder and the usual ventilation grilles, instead of a computer or air conditioner.

Seats

The front seats are very nice looking with good support and a bulging half-cup. Many car owners note in their reviews successful adjustment mechanisms with a large range of walking.

"Lada X Ray" has a decent number of places for storing any small things: a box under the passenger seat, convenient pockets on the doors with cup holders, and the central part of the panel is equipped with two niches and several holders of dishes.

The rear part of the cabin is clearly configured and three passengers do not have to push each other elbows, but only if the passengers have average weight and dimensions, in other cases, it is better to confine themselves to two fellow passengers from behind.

Trunk

In the standard variation, the car trunk is designed for storing 375 liters of load, while with folded rear seats, you can fit almost 1400 liters of luggage. After the passenger seats have been removed, the trunk will be a perfectly flat platform, where the placement of the cargo is not hampered even by the arches of the rear wheels.

Under the luggage area is a normal and full 15-inch "reserve", which was very pleased many owners judging by the reviews and lamenting that the previous generation of cars equipped with something incomprehensible with terrible tires.

Technical characteristics and test drive

The new "Lada X Ray" test for speed and contact with the road surface has completed very well. With the initial version of the engine at 1.6 liters at 106 horses, the results were very good. The car was able to accelerate to a speed of 100 km / h in 12 seconds, which is quite good. The indicators of the mixed cycle also pleased - "Lada X Ray", after 100 kilometers, consumed only 7.5 liters of gasoline, which is not so different from the top configuration, where at 122 horses, the car "was eating" just over 7 liters of fuel.

All modifications are equipped with a 16-valve timing and differ in engine power - 106, 114 and 122 respectively, and the most expensive model has a non-exclusive five-band robotized transmission, the other variations have a manual or semi-automatic transmission, but the box type can be chosen in any package For equipment, and this is a new "Lada X Ray".

The price for the base model ranges from 500,000 rubles. Additional variations will cost more than an average of 100,000 rubles, but AvtoVAZ provides for a more or less individual approach to each dealer, and therefore to the person in particular, which will exclude or include some modifying elements of the car.

Variations

As an option, airbags, ABS and ESP systems, a factory radio or multimedia center, speakers and their layout (up to six), 16-inch wheels with variations of disks (casting, forging, metal), central locking (2- 4-5 doors), GLONASS warning and other variational modifications. In any case, all cars delivered to dealerships will have a variety of equipment, which is designed for several groups of buyers.
