Vitamins are organic substances that perform an auxiliary function in relation to hormones and enzymes. They participate in almost all processes occurring in our body. The lack of a vitamin in the diet can be detrimental to health.

The first group includes vitamins A, D, E, K. Their peculiarity consists in the fact that they are absorbed only if they were used together with food containing a sufficient amount of fat. So, for example, to make vitamin A from grated carrots bring the greatest benefit, it must be added vegetable oil. In some cases, nature itself took care of everything. Thus, fish oil in large quantities contains vitamin E.

Vitamins C, B, H, PP are water-soluble. This means that only a sufficient amount of liquid is needed to assimilate them.

Choline (B4), inositol (B8), paraaminobenzoic acid (B10), carnitine (B11), orotic (B11), pangamic (B15), polyunsaturated fatty (F), lipoic acid (B4) were found in a separate group called vitamin-like substances N), bioflavonoids (P), methylmethionine (U). In their structure, they are somewhat different from vitamins as such, but are similar to them in terms of action and performed functions.

It is also known that for good health, vitamin C is very important, as it performs many functions:

It has been scientifically proven that people who adhere to a diet where there is a lot of vitamin C. are less prone to disease. This is especially true in the winter. After all, many only when there are symptoms of a cold or flu rush to the pharmacy for sachets of powder, which says that they have vitamin C, which contains the most actually useless or even harmful substances. It's about artificial colors and flavors. Therefore, it is better to use natural products, in which there is vitamin C.

Where is the most of ascorbic acid, everyone knows from childhood. In fact on a small bottle with tasty yellow dragees are drawn lemons. But this is only partly true, since citrus fruits in this indicator are among the leaders, but they are not the record holder.
