Are they taking to the army with flat feet? All the answers to conscripts' questions

Do you have conscription age and the question arises: are they taking to the army with a flatfoot?

  For today it is necessary to be guided by the Regulation No. 123. It is better to look at the last edition of 25.02.2003. See the section on musculoskeletal diseases, where flat feet are described in detail in the article No. 68 of the table, which is called the "Schedule of Diseases". Having studied this document, you can independently determine whether you are taking to the army with a flatfoot .

Everything depends on the degree of complexity of the disease, indicated in the diagnosis. The degree of complexity of flatfoot is divided into points: a, b, c, g.

If the diagnosis falls under the item "a" (a significant violation of functions with flat feet) - the draftee is classified as "D", according to Article 68, he is considered not fit for service in the army.

Point "b" (moderate disruption of functions with flat feet) refers to the category "B", that is, the draftee is limited in scope (or not suitable in peacetime). He receives a military ticket and is credited to the reserve. Such a person is released from conscription.

Item "B" (minor disruption of functions with flat feet) is also a category "B".

Point "g" (without disrupting functions, when there are objective data) - category "B" - is suitable, with the exception of some arms.

How are diagnoses distributed according to the provisions of Regulation No. 123?

A) - horse, varus, hollow, heel, equinovarus, flat-valgus deformed foot (one or both), formed due to injuries or diseases, and with which a person can not use military shoes;

B) third degree of flatfoot (longitudinal or transverse);

C) - 2nd degree of flatfoot (only with the 2nd degree of arthrosis);

D) - 1 st or 2 nd degree of flatfoot (at the 1 st degree of deforming arthrosis).

How to determine the degree of flatfoot?

To determine the degree of flatfoot, you need to follow:

  • Description of the radiograph in a standing position under load. The description is made by the radiologist. He must determine the angle of the longitudinal arch, its height;
  • The angle of Beler, which determines the degree of deformation of the calcaneal brush;
  • Computed tomography in the coronary plane to assess the condition of the subtalar joint;
  • Description of the parameters of angular deviations of the first metatarsal bone and the first finger.

Who will tell you whether they take an army with flat feet, determine the degree of flat feet and diagnose?

Determine the degree of flatfoot can only the doctor of the polyclinic orthopedic surgeon. The diagnosis is made on the basis of radiographic images, which the radiologist describes, the orthopedic surgeon on the basis of these descriptions makes a conclusion and establishes a diagnosis. The military commissioner has no right to make a diagnosis. He only determines the level of fitness for military service on the basis of a clearly established diagnosis by a doctor at a polyclinic.

What if ... Or FAQ

  • There is a description of the pictures, there is no diagnosis, and the military commissar says: "Goden"?

The doctor is obliged to write a diagnosis, if he refuses, then this behavior is regarded as a refusal to provide medical care, which is fraught with penalties for the doctor, up to and including dismissal.

  • The doctor of the local polyclinic asked whether he was taken to the army with a flat foot, and sent you to the military enlistment office.

Complain to a superior (from the head of the polyclinic to the city government and above), preferably in writing with mandatory registration of letters.

  • The doctor "understates" the degree of complexity of flat feet.

This can be determined by comparing the parameters described in the X-ray, with explanations in the Regulations on Military Medical Examination. It is necessary to pass the examination in another clinic. Based on the available facts, write complaints. If the result is not present - submit to the court. If you are right and the disease does exist, the doctor is recognized as incompetent, and your rights will be restored.

  • What flat foot is not taken into the army?

FROM Diagnoses that fall under the points: a, b, c.

Can I run with flatfoot?

Basically, doctors agree that running at flat feet is contraindicated. You can, and even need to load the foot, but the load must be correct. A complex of physiotherapy exercises developed by an orthopedist for your degree of flatfoot, deformities of the foot and complications is useful.

You can walk, but you need an orthopedic insole made on an individual order.
