Application of "Mimosa": how to do

If you like to work with children with artistic creativity or do it as your professional activity, you will need information about how the application of "Mimosa" from various materials is performed. These variants can be offered to children of different ages. Kids can easily simplify tasks, eliminating complex details or preparing some elements in advance.

Tools and materials

In order for you and your children to get a beautiful and accurate application of "Mimosa", prepare the following:

  • Color cardboard or paper blue, blue for the base;
  • A cardboard of contrasting color, for example brown, for registration of ready work in a frame;
  • pencil;
  • eraser;
  • scissors;
  • glue;
  • Green paper (plain or corrugated).

For the production of inflorescences, one of the following materials can be selected:

  • Wool, which will need to be dyed yellow gouache;
  • Corrugated paper;
  • Napkins;
  • plasticine.

We take children home

When the child performs the task together with the parents, the application of "Mimosa" can be created in any technique and in different combinations. Even children of younger preschool age easily master any variant together with the adult. It is better to do work not at once, but divide it into several stages.

Options for kindergarten

If you have to hold a lesson on a spring theme or make gifts to moms by March 8, a good option is the application of "Mimosa". In kindergarten or when working with any organized group, it is important to plan the process correctly and to make it easier for the toddlers to work independently.

Focusing on the age of the guys, prepare the leaves stencils, draw out the contours of the twigs, cut the paper or napkins into equal squares so that the rolling balls turn out to be the same size. Explain the sequence of work, tell about the properties of the selected materials, read the poem about spring, mother, the holiday of March 8 and the colors produced. It is good to bring a natural twig of mimosa. In short, the occupation should promote the all-round development of children.

Applique "Mimosa" from napkins

Napkins yellow color is good to use as an alternative to corrugated paper. To make the balls the same size, cut the napkins into squares. If the application of "Mimosa" from napkins is performed by the younger preschooler, who, most likely, does not succeed in ideally rolling up dense balls, you can not make square workpieces, but suggest that the baby himself tear off pieces from a large napkin, after showing how much they should be of a size.

If yellow wipes are not available, use white. First roll the balls out of them, and then lower them into the gouache. You can immediately combine the two operations by mixing the paint with the PVA glue and dipping the workpiece in the prepared composition, spread the composition on the sheet, although it is better to allow the workpieces to dry after painting.

Mimosa from paper: application

If the work is done from corrugated paper, the sequence of operations is as follows:

  1. Draw on the cardboard, where the stems and leaves will be located.
  2. Cut the green paper into strips and twist the stems and twigs from them. Glue the blanks to the appropriate places.
  3. Cut many squares of yellow paper.
  4. Fold the corners of the square to the center, and then roll the ball. So it will turn out more smoothly and accurately. To make the seam appear less noticeable, this side should be glued to the substrate.
  5. When applying glue to the balls, press them against the cardboard in the right places.
  6. Make a few rectangles for the leaves from the green paper. Cut out the blanks on a stencil from the cardboard or from a folded rectangle of corrugated paper to get a symmetrical piece.
  7. Cut the edges of the leaves with fringe.
  8. Glue the leaves to the appropriate places, spreading glue only the central parts of the blanks. This will create an additional volume.

Of the conventional colored paper, the technology of performing the application will be similar. The only difference is that the twigs should be made from thin strips or drawn. Circles of yellow paper are easy to obtain with the help of a conventional puncher. The only minus of this method is the mimosa of paper (the application of the inflorescences) will turn out to be completely flat. If you want to make the relief, it is better to combine ordinary colored paper with other yellow material for the implementation of inflorescences (corrugated, napkins, clay).

When the work is finished and dries, it is necessary to arrange it. The easiest way to do this is:

  1. Take a sheet of cardboard in a larger format than the base on which the application was made, and paste the resulting panel onto it. It will acquire a neat, complete look.
  2. If there is not a larger sheet , you can place the work in a mat, pasted from strips of paper (white, brown). Ideal - to put the hand-made in a real wooden frame. Of course, this method is suitable only for parents. In the garden it is worth using one of the simple ways. If the panel was done in a small size, it is easy to paste it onto a folded sheet as the front side of the postcard.

Flowers from cotton wool

If you do not have napkins and corrugated paper, or the baby does not get to roll evenly accurate balls so that they do not turn around, use a material that is easier to process. The application of "Mimosa" from cotton wool is made faster:

  1. Give the child a piece of cotton wool.
  2. Show the baby how to pinch off small particles.
  3. Explain how to roll balls.
  4. Dip the resulting blanks into a diluted yellow gouache.
  5. Put on a flat surface for drying.
  6. Do all the other elements and actions in any of the above ways.

As you can see, the application of "Mimosa" is made of different materials. Choose the right option or let the child work in all ways. Great idea to spend time at home with pleasure, and a suitable topic for classes in the kindergarten.
