Appendicitis Or Life Threat?

There are things that we estimate, just a forehead on the forehead facing their bold insolvency. There are things that are naive to judge from the outside.
I was born and grew up in the small town of Maikop (Republic of Adygea), and although I was destined to grow up in the northern capital in recent years, I seemed to know my southern corner from all available sides.
In another of my summer arrivals (namely 3 weeks ago) I encountered a problem that until now (due to the age of my parents) was not available to me - my father suddenly fell ill. When the pain in the abdomen became sharp and unbearable, we, as average residents of the earth, called for help, which is mockingly called "ambulance". I do not see a reason for describing the half-ruined car of the era of perestroika. The city hospital, in which we were fortunate enough to be, was struck by not even the slowness of the building. Although in my understanding (and about hospitals to this day I knew purely on the basis of telecommunications feeds, well, the difference between a picture and reality is the size of an abyss.) To someone who happened to travel around our boundless homeland, using the services of the railways, and on arrival to see the broadcast Glaring advertisement of railway monopolists - it is not necessary to explain.) At least the sanitary norms must be observed in the territory of this institution.
I was struck by indifference! Now I have already clearly understood the action of the mechanism, called "free medicine" in our country, at that time everything that was happening was savagery. Dad was already writhing with pain on the hospital couch, and my mother and I ran around the empty clinic (the case, by the way, was in the evening) with requests, pleas, threats, at least something to help. In the reception hamovataya woman, not looking up from the games in the cell phone, backhand answered - "What can we do? There is no doctor!".
When the patience reached the limit, the surgeon descended. Undetermined with the diagnosis, he ordered talkative nurse prick the painkiller and send us to the second (and last) hospital of our city - the Republican.
The façade and the reception rooms were lacquered, and for a second I believed that everything would go right there. After twenty minutes of waiting, the "doctor" came down to us - Aleksei Aleksandrovich Shparev. The calmness and slowness of the citizen was unlimited, I later learned from acquaintances and nurses that a lot of complaints were received about this character, but despite the lack of qualified or at least some kind of help. Before getting "motivated" - the doctor continues to pretend that he is a doctor .
He slowly performed a series of lengthy procedures, and sat the exhausted father in a chair, measured the diagnosis.
Verdict - leave the patient in the department of urology until the cause is clarified. Time is 12 o'clock in the morning, on the watch we are told that the painkillers, which are still being "pinched" by my father, are not available, and if he suddenly becomes ill, they will not be able to help him. Maikop - a small town and twenty-four-hour pharmacies are not provided even in the area of the hospitals themselves. After a night's run through all available medical posts, we were finally convinced of this. As a result, in the middle of the night, when the pope began to shake with the bed, the patient from the next bed took his pain medication to the doctors, thereby "could not help."
The whole next day, until the evening, my father lay in the hospital, he did not even take a blood test. In the evening together with us he waited in front of the ultrasound department, where externally affable doctor who at the first opportunity "made his feet" - Lebedev Pavel Evgenievich - could not determine the causes of unrelenting pain in the abdomen. When my mother called all her friends, a doctor was called from the surgery, who determined with 90% certainty of appendicitis. Exhausted dad did not even want to drive a gurney to the operating room, referring to the scale of his body. Then my nerves surrendered and poured outward with a mad orom. The wheeler was driven. The operation lasted 2, 5 hours, after which the father was sent to the intensive care unit, in the middle of the next day he, with 4 drains, a catheter and a bunch of droppers, was already lying in the ward. The diagnosis - a severe form of peritonitis, he lay in the hospital for 24 hours without any help from doctors. As a result, a month later - another surgery to remove appendicitis. Later, they told us directly that if the doctors dragged the night, the outcome could have been almost lethal. The stomach was full of pus, and the doctors were busy with their own affairs, hardly envisaged by Hippocrates.

To date, the papa has been removed from the stitches and diligently discharged from the hospital, but the place of one of the drains does not heal, fluid now and again drips from it. Hope and faith in people in white coats is exhausted. How to return to the former life of a tall, 46-year-old man - remains a question for me and my relatives.

What kind of innovation does the president say from the screen, if hospitals can not correctly diagnose appendicitis? And what kind of free medicine is it, if the doctors are idle evenly, until their gratitude, motivation for action, falls into their pocket ?! Why in hospitals in the daytime with fire do not find clean bed linen, ship and conscientious workers ?? And how to deserve the generally accepted attitude of people who are called to stand on the protection of our health ?!

There are things that we estimate, just a forehead on the forehead facing their bold insolvency. There are things that are naive to judge from the outside. (I hope to be heard) ..
