pharmachologic effect

The frontline combo preparation (the instructions for use will be described below) has a pronounced contact insecto-acaricidal effect. Actively acts in preimaginal and imaginal phases of development of lice, mites, withers, fleas that can parasitize on cats or dogs.

Under the action of the fipronil included in the composition, GABA-dependent receptors of parasites are blocked, the transmission of nerve impulses is disrupted, resulting in paralysis and death of ectoparasites.

S-methoprene suppresses the function of the juvenile hormone, which participates in the formation of chitin, as a result of which the development of the egg and larva of the future flea is disrupted.
