The village with an interesting name Anchor Shchel (photo and description of this resort will be presented in this article) is considered one of the quietest and cozy resort corners of our country. There was no place for pathos clubs, discos and other noisy entertainment, the village can not boast of any cultural or architectural monuments. But still a lot of tourists come here. History

The village of Yakornaya Shchel began its history in the distant 1719. At that time in the Urals cast a special anchor, which weighed more than 180 kilograms. This was done by special order from the state. After that, the anchor was installed on one of the ships, then several times it was re-installed on other vessels. The last time the anchor belonged to the corvette "Penderaklia". But in 1840 there was a powerful storm, after which the ship sank. It happened near the shore, fortunately, the ship's crew managed to get to the shore and be rescued.

At the beginning of the 20th century, a group of divers found and completely examined the ship. According to preliminary data, it became known that a large ship of gold was transported on the sunken ship, which went to the bottom along with the ship. But, unfortunately, the gold divers were not found, but on the surface were raised things from the cabins and directly the anchor. All these findings were left on the shore, many things local were taken to their use, but they could not carry the anchor, so he was on shore for a long time. Already in time this place was called the Anchor Slit.
