He is the operator of absolutely all the director's works of his second half - Svetlana Druzhinina. And their creative tandem has always been very fruitful.

Childhood

July 26, 1938 in the family of Michael and Elizabeth Mukasey the son - Mukasei Anatoly was born. Their family was somewhat unusual, if you compare it with the average Soviet families. Parents were illegitimate scouts. In total, the children (there was still Ella's girl in the family) did not see their parents for about twenty years, despite the fact that they came to Moscow at the first opportunity (albeit not for long, seven days, at most ten), and when they did not Was near, passed notes and parcels.

Tolya and Ella realized that one can not talk about parents to anyone. Children diligently kept this secret. In the capital of children, kind "bosses" took care of them, who became their friends.

In 1961, Mukasey graduated from the Cinematography Department of the VGIK. At first he worked for a year at the Leningrad newsreel studio, shooting a number of stories. And since 1962 he is the production director of the Mosfilm studio.

He is still convinced that viewers watch the movie through the eyes of the operator, and on the screen they should be all clear and visible. After all, every screen image is the same painting, only dynamic.

Therefore, all of his paintings are small masterpieces that you want to revise again and again, despite how many years ago all this was removed: "Hussar's marriage", "Give a plaintive book", "Nose", "Viva, midshipmen!" . It should be noted and all six films of the series "Secrets of palace coups".

My love

Future spouses met while still students of VGIK. Anatoly Mukasei, whose photo is not so often seen in different magazines, studied at the camera faculty, and Svetlana Druzhinina - in acting.

The fatal meeting was held in the locker room of the volleyball court of the Institute. Svetlana at that time was already an ascending movie star and an amazing beauty. When the ball rolled up to her feet, she looked up and saw a young man who was the captain of the institute's men's volleyball team. This was Anatoly Mukasei, whose biography from that day has been inextricably linked with this woman for almost 60 years. After many years, he admitted that the ball was only an occasion for acquaintance.

Mukasey was a year younger than Druzhinin and completely disliked her fellow students. They could not understand what the recognized beauty of the course found in this long-legged and long-legged boy. But the couple was inseparable, everywhere they went together: to the cinema, to the institute, to volleyball competitions. Now everyone has already understood that the matter is approaching the wedding. Mukasei Anatoly recalled that Svetlana had one selfish goal in concluding this marriage: to live with him for several decades.

Acquaintance with parents

As we have already said, Michael and Elizaveta Mukasei, the parents of Anatoly and his sister Ella, worked for a quarter of a century as illegal scouts abroad. Being fluent in several foreign languages, they spoke Russian with an accent.

Parents rarely visited Moscow, but everyone knew about the affairs of their children. Mom learned that Druzhinin would be her daughter-in-law even before her son met her. When they were in Gagra watching the picture "Behind the Showcase of a Department Store," Anatoly asked if his mother liked the main character (Druzhinina played the role of Sonya Bozhko). And he declared (either in jest, or seriously) that he would marry her. Tole was then only 17 years old and soon forgot about his promise. Until the moment when I saw Svetlana at the institute.

When they went on a visit to meet their parents, Druzhinina remembered well how her knees trod. She wore a modest black dress with a white collar, and on Anatoly's parents, when they opened the apartment door, there were chic evening dresses - a luxurious dress and a three-piece suit. For the first time in her life, the girl felt a huge panic: whether she would like them and whether they would discourage her from marrying her. Impressions and emotions were so strong that on nervous nerves Svetlana was ill for several days. And then Anatoly came with a gift from his mother: a white handbag with kerchiefs, perfumes and chewing gums. And he said that the parents invited them to marry before the graduation from the institute.

The wedding was very beautiful in a chic restaurant at the time. And the next day my parents left for work from the capital, leaving Sveta a letter saying that everything she learns in the family should be kept secret, and that she is not allowed to leave the country. But for her love, she was willing to sacrifice a lot. Besides all this time she imperceptibly took lessons from her mother-in-law. Over time, Mukasei Anatoly said that Sveta was just a copy of his mother.

The younger generation of the family

It so happened that it was volleyball that determined the fate of their son, Mikhail. He, like dad, cameraman and volleyball player. One day, Mikhail called his mother and said that he would come to the country to introduce his parents to his girlfriend. At first Druzhinina became agitated that there was practically nothing to put on the table, but when she saw her son's chosen one, then ... There was no limit to her delight. It was Catherine Gamow herself ! Yes, yes, two-time world champion in volleyball. From the first minute the future daughter-in-law was accepted by Misha's parents as her own.

Now, no match in which Katya takes part, does not pass without the presence of a large family. The husband and his parents always support her.

These are the spouses and parents, Svetlana Druzhinina and Anatoly Mukasei. Children, photos of which celebrities usually accepted to exhibit for everyone, were always in their family loved. And after the tragic death in 1986 of their eldest son Anatoly, the family did not break up, as often happens, on the contrary, they shared a common grief together, having managed to rally even more. And the younger's love only increased. After all, the most important lesson that the senior Mukaseya (parents of Anatolia) presented to the younger (Svetlana and her son) is to remain always together, no matter what surprises they might present to them.
