Childhood and youth

The future actor Anatoly Kotenev was born in sunny Sukhumi, in September one thousand nine hundred and fifty-eight. His father was a machinist, and my mother was a kindergarten teacher. When the child was one year old, the family moved to Nevinnomyssk. At an early school age, Anatoly dreamed of becoming a sailor. A little later he began to visit a circle of aircraft modelers and really fell in love with this occupation. The guy forgot his dream of the sea and seriously engaged in hang gliders.

In the seventh grade Anatoly Kotenev again became interested. This time it was a theater. For the first time on the stage, the actor went to the Palace of Culture of Nevinnomyssk. After graduating from school, a young man first at the insistence of his parents received a "serious profession" - turner-borer. After a while he entered the theater school. It was in the city of Sverdlovsk. A year later he was drafted into the army.

Study in Moscow

Safely served, Anatoly Kotenev did not return to Sverdlovsk, but decided to immediately conquer the capital. Moscow did not open its arms before him. As soon as they learned in theatrical high schools that the applicant had already studied in another school, he was immediately denied. Thus, Anatoly could not enter Shchukin College and VGIK. After two unsuccessful attempts, he managed to enter the famous Moscow Art Theater School, in the studio of IM Tarkhanov.

Work in the Nineties

While still studying at the university, Anatoly Kotenev first starred in the film "The Unknown Soldier" G. Aronov. And after graduation, he was immediately approved for the main role in the film "Sailor Zheleznyak" V. Dudin. It would seem that the beginning actor has brilliant prospects, but Anatoly Kotenev, whose photo you see in this article, did not have the opportunity to stay in the capital. Therefore, he gladly accepted the invitation of Boris Lutsenko, the head of the Minsk Theater of Screen Actors. Inspired and full of hope, the actor went to Belarus.

Contrary to expectations, for a long career at the famous film studio "Belarusfilm" the actor received only two main roles. Only in 1916 Kotenev played his first significant role in the film "The Secret Fairway". Then there were a few more minor works, after which came a wide black band.

The country began a crisis, the cinema became useless to anyone, it was necessary to somehow survive. The actor engaged in chasing, drawing, carving. A little later he got acquainted with jewelers in Minsk, bought the necessary instrument and began making rings.

Anatoly Kotenev, whose biography was connected with the cinema by invisible threads, at that time simply survived. Unfortunately, in those troubled times, a huge number of talented actors were in this position.

New opportunities

In the middle of two thousand and two years the actor was invited to appear in the film "Between Life and Death" at the film studio "Belarusfilm". The name of this tape actor seemed significant, and he decided to go to Moscow. He believed that in the capital he will have more opportunities to work by profession. Since then, his house is in Minsk, and the main work is in the capital. Less than a month after the arrival, and Kotenev has already managed to star in the series "The Best City of the Earth."
