Hodgkin's disease can be defeated in more than 60% of cases. A scheme is always the same: radiation therapy - rest - chemistry. The course lasts eight months. Then a new examination is assigned.

Fight

Alisa Kleybanova hoped to win this game with the disease ahead of schedule. But she did not succeed. It was very difficult to fight. On the court, the girl did not come across such difficult rivals.

The hardest thing Alice was given was chemotherapy. Pain, weakness, nausea, fever - that's what accompanied the girl throughout the course. According to Kleibanova, the drugs administered simply "burned" her veins. This was the most terrible and painful test in the entire life of the athlete.

For the first time, Alice could not do what she liked. Doctors recommended to exclude any physical activity. But even if there was no such prohibition, the athlete still lacked strength. In the hospital, Kleibanov was always supported by close people - the coach, parents and colleagues in the shop. The girl was visited by Ekaterina Makarova and Irina Zvonareva.

Later, Alisa confessed that without their support, it would have been much more difficult for her to struggle with the ailment. In order not to fall out of a normal life, the sportswoman set herself the goal: to buy an apartment in Italy and completely to equip it. After the acquisition of housing, she began to design and select furniture. Thus, she prepared herself a return to a normal life without overcoming a terrible illness.

Victory

Eight months later Alisa Kleybanova again came to the doctor. This was the same office as the first time. Only now the doctor reported good news. Analyzes of the sportswoman were normal. She completely recovered. The coach was sincerely happy, and the heroine of this article took the news calmly. The girl did not consider this a miracle, because she had to exert so much effort for recovery.

Alisa Kleybanova, tennis player, returned to training a month after her victory over the disease. For the first time on the court, the athlete experienced absolute happiness. All the hardships experienced by her during the treatment were forgotten at one point. Alice did not have to re-learn the game. The skills gained over the years of training returned almost immediately. Therefore, the first match after a long period of absence was successful. In March 2012, Kleibanova beat Johanna Larsson from Sweden. Now the athlete actively trains and plans to regain lost positions in the world ranking.
