The only exception was the brother of the wife of the head of the family Abul Kalam Azad, who is a prominent Indian scientist and politician. The younger generation also dreams of filming, everyone sees himself as a worthy successor to the older members of the family.

School and tennis

Education Aamir Khan received a multi-stage, began to study at the regular school JB Petit School, and two years later moved to the Lyceum of St. Anne. Before the end of his studies he transferred to the Scottish School of Bombay, which he graduated with honors, despite the fact that he often preferred football and tennis to classes. After that, his education was already considered complete, and Aamir left the institution, having received a diploma of higher education.

First roles

He started his creative career in 1973, while still a child. He played a young character Ratan in the film "Find each other", which was filmed by his own uncle. Then he participated in several films directed by Mansur Khan, who was his cousin.

In 1985, Aamir Khan, whose filmography already included four films, played the Madan Sharma character in the Holi film, which was filmed by director Ashutosh Govariker, Aamir's elder friend. However, friendship is friendship, and from the twenty-year-old Khan was demanded under the full program, without any indulgences. Perhaps this helped him in the future become a real filmmaker.

In the role of the Indian Romeo

The first truly significant film in his career, Aamir considers "The Verdict", staged in 1988 by his uncle Nasir Hussein, based on the classic drama of William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet." Young Aamir played Raja, an Indian Romeo, it was his first major role in the movie. The picture made a sensation, and the enamored young man, performed by Khan, became a national hero.

The film received eight awards, one of them, in the nomination "Best Male Debut", went to Aamir. His partner Juhi Chavla was also awarded the "New Face in Cinematography" prize. After such a successful debut, Indian films with Aamir Khan began to be shot regularly, since success was provided only by one participation of a popular actor. The films were published once a year. Aamir Khan, whose filmography was rapidly expanding and replenished with new works, believed that it would be more likely to be removed to the detriment of the artistic component of the project.

Popularity

In Bollywood, a bright star named Aamir Khan ascended. Films with his participation the audience waited impatiently. The actor himself was besieged by crowds of fans, he could not walk calmly along the street. Popularity came unexpectedly, and Khan was threatened by star fever. However, he managed to avoid this dangerous disease, he remained the same good-natured and attentive to the surrounding person, as he was before his dizzying take-off.

The most popular actor in Bollywood in the early nineties was Aamir Khan. Films with his participation brought a record box office, and there was not a single failure. After the success of the "Verdict", the producers decided that it was necessary to keep the duet of Khan and Juhi Chavla. Several scenarios were written, and the star couple set to work. Seven films with Aamir and Juhi appeared alternately on the big screen, among which were "Passion", "You are mine," "Love, love, love," "Towards love." When the films were shot with Juhi Chavly, Aamir Khan tried to play the lover with the greatest certainty. A partner helped him in this. The young actress managed to captivate Aamir and slightly fall in love with him. So both were very comfortable playing lovers.

Other roles

After a series of films about love Aamir Khan, films with which it was necessary to somehow diversify, appeared in several successful projects without sentimental rhetoric. These were new films on various topics. All of them gathered full rooms, if the playbill was the magic name of Aamir Khan. Indian moviegoers are spoiled by good melodramatic stories, mostly musical, they are difficult to surprise by anything, but the pictures with Khan's participation were in special account.

Career Aamir continued its movement along the ascending line, one successful film followed another. In the late nineties of the last century, several films were shot, which completed a certain stage in the creative life of the actor. This is "I want to marry the daughter of a millionaire" (1994), "Different Fates" (1995), "Veselchak" (1995), "Unhappy Destiny" (1998), "Rebel Soul" (1999), "Angry Intent "(1999). A few years later the film "I want to marry the daughter of a millionaire" became a cult and was inscribed in the golden fund of Bollywood.

Khan-producer

At the beginning of the 21st century, Aamir Khan starred in two more successful films: "Laagan: One Day in India" and "Loving Hearts". Both paintings were created in 2001. The project "Laagan" was special for Aamir, he not only played a major role in the film, but also became his producer. Before that Khan, together with his wife Rina Dutta, organized a production company called Aamir Khan Productions. And before he did not think about such a turn in his career, too hard were the impressions of this ungrateful work. The father of the actor was just the producer in Bollywood, and Aamir often found him worried and upset.

However, the calculation was correct, "Laagan" in the production of a friend of Aamir, Ashutosh Govarikera, director and script writer, won eight prizes. In addition, the film was nominated for the American highest prize "Oscar", but luck this time bypassed him, the victory was awarded to another film. The success of Aamir Khan's first film as a producer overshadowed the divorce from his wife Rina Dutta. The reason for the separation of the couple decided to hide. Frustrated Khan left for a while from the cinema and lived alone.
Aamir returned three years later and immediately shot the film "Uprising", which talked about the first Indian War of Independence. The second project of Khan was the painting "Color of saffron". The next film, filmed by Khan, was called "Blind Love." In the film, the famous actress Kajol, who, like Aamir, recently returned from voluntary imprisonment, acted.

Nomination for "Oscar"

Actor and producer Khan has long dreamed of trying his hand at being a director. And in 2007 he had such an opportunity, he made a film under the romantic name "Asterisks on the Ground", sitting in the director's chair. The picture was dedicated to problems in the country's educational system. This topic was discussed on the big screen for the first time, the film caused a stirring public outcry. On the wave of universal social interest, the picture received many prizes. And again Khan's work was put forward for Oscar, but, like last time, the award passed by.

Further Aamir made films "Gadzhini", "Three idiots", "Truth is somewhere near", "Diaries of Mumbai". And the last picture was the directorial debut of Aamir's second wife, Kieran Rao, whom he met at that time. The actor himself brilliantly played a student Rancho Chanchada in the movie "Three Idiots". The picture became the most box office in the history of Bollywood and remained so for another four years.
