Remaking old furniture and furniture from cardboard, flavors from dough and oils and melting old candles, paintings from nails and scotch, flowers from beads and satin ribbons, the use of empty plastic bottles and bobbins from scotch - the imagination of people has no limit. This master class will tell you how to make a wallet of leather with your own hands.

As an initial material for the craft, an old leather cowboy boot was used. You can use any other leather material. Or even its substitute. It is completely unprincipled what material is used in the manufacture of the craft: the main thing is that it is heavy-duty. The wallet with your own hands is always original and stylish. Who said that you must necessarily spend crazy money for the purchase of a designer's creation? You can make a stunning wallet with your own hands.

In order to sew a purse with your own hands, you will need:

1. As mentioned above - an old leather cowboy boot.

2. Waxed thread.

3. Seam ripper.

4. Silo.

5. Ruler.

6. Scissors.

7. Needles.

8. Miniature cutter.

9. Manual sewing machine. By the way, in this master class this tool was not needed: they used a regular needle.

Let's get started. Cut off the upper part of the boot and remove from it plaque, salts and other substances.

The best way to clean the used material is a dishwashing liquid.

After that, we dry on the fresh air during the day.

With the help of a ripper remove from the top of the stripe.

Then cut the boot over the seam and remove the seams and threads.

As a result, you get the next piece for the craft.

Using a ruler and a miniature cutter, we cut off the most homogeneous part of the material (without transitions and inserts).

From the second piece of material, we cut out two identical blanks for the inner part of the craft.

Three leather pieces with the same patterns will be combined into a wonderful wallet. With your hands of this material, you can sew not only a wallet, but also a cover for documents.

Next, using an awl and ruler around the perimeter of a large piece and on three sides of small pieces, make holes at a distance of 5 mm from each other. On smaller pieces, two smaller sides and one larger hole should be punched.

In order to make a purse with your own hands from these pieces, you can use a hand sewing machine or a thread with two needles. In the master class used the second option.

In order to create a harmonious and beautiful seam, two needles pass in one hole: first a needle on the right side, then on the left side.
