A new super transport will take you from Vienna to Budapest in 10 minutes

Over the past couple of months, three US companies have announced plans to launch a test road for the Hyperloop trains. For those who do not know, Hyperloop is a project of the famous engineer Ilona Mask, which involves the use of vacuum tubes to move people by special transport for long distances with incredible speed. Now the action takes a European scale - it is planned to create a route that would connect the three cities among themselves.

Hyperloop in Europe

To create the first route Hyperloop, three European cities were chosen: Bratislava (Slovakia), Vienna (Austria) and Budapest (Hungary). At the moment, an agreement has been reached with the Government of Slovakia, and now expanded plans for the execution of the project are being developed.

Why Bratislava?

The choice for Bratislava fell for the reason that Slovakia is the European leader in the automotive, materials science and energy industries - and these industries are extremely important for the Hyperloop system. The appearance of this route will be an incentive for further cooperation in this direction, not only with Slovakia, but also with the entire European Union, which in the end should lead to the development of relations with other regions of the world. As a result, it is planned that Hyperloop will become in fact a global movement.

Routes

This route will allow Europeans to cover the distance from Bratislava to Vienna, which is 56 kilometers, in just eight minutes. The journey from Bratislava to Budapest takes ten minutes (the distance between these two cities is 160 kilometers). Also considered is the probability of creating a route between Bratislava and Kosice, a city in eastern Slovakia, the distance to which is 400 kilometers. Such a trip will take 25 minutes - extremely little compared to the usual five-hour drive by car.
