A fatal diagnosis is brain cancer. Symptoms and prognosis

All brain tumors are a group of connective tissue cells that grow and multiply, and these tumors can be both benign and malignant. Malignant tumor develops into brain cancer, the symptoms of which can appear after some time.

Cancer tumors in oncology are divided into primary tumors that form in the brain itself, and secondary tumors that develop in the brain by spreading them from other organs, most often from the lungs or kidneys.

The benign tumor grows quite slowly and does not have the property of spreading to other areas of the body and brain tissue, they create danger only when located on such areas of the brain that are responsible for the vital functions of the body. The cancerous tumor grows rapidly and has the property of spreading to other areas of the brain, as well as tissues and organs, which leads to their destruction. When the tumor bursts, its destructive cells get into the lymph and blood and spread throughout the body, creating new tumors called metastases.

Thus, brain cancer symptoms are pronounced, but the causes of its occurrence are little known. Many believe that cancer is associated with a hereditary predisposition, but internal and external factors of its development should be taken into account. So, the importance of only several factors that have an impact on the development of this disease has been proved:

1. Heredity. There is a manifestation of symptoms of cancer in a person whose relatives were ill with the disease.

2. Smoking. Usually, lung cancer develops , which leads to the formation of secondary cancerous tumors in the brain.

3. Radiation. Often there is cancer of the blood, which leads to the appearance of metastases in the brain.

4. The impact of harmful production. 6% of people working in hazardous production are ill with cancer.

5. Breaking the hormonal balance. Most often, cancer occurs for this reason in women.

6. Viral hepatitis is the cause of the formation of liver cancer, which gives metastases to the brain.

Thus, brain cancer, the causes of which are described above, can develop as a result of the combined impact of external and internal factors.

It is important to know that cancer can not show symptoms or manifest symptoms similar to other diseases, so it is very difficult to diagnose a disease. It can be said that brain cancer symptoms can manifest depending on the affected parts of the brain (focal symptoms) and depending on the type of tumor in the brain (cerebral symptoms). Primary and secondary cancers have similar manifestations:

1. Pain sensations in the head area. Pain has a constant character and a strong manifestation.

2. Dizziness due to pressure inside the skull.

3. Vomiting, nausea.

Also, there may be disorders of vision, hearing, psyche, hallucinations, and even paralysis.

Diagnosis of a disease such as brain cancer, the symptoms of which may be similar to the symptoms of other diseases, is rather difficult, since it is necessary to carry out histological examination, tomography, angiography. Therefore, the diagnosis is based on the results of extensive research.

It can be said that brain cancer treatment involves an individual, depending on the degree of its severity, the age of the patient, the focus of the onset of a cancerous tumor. Surgery is extremely rare, mainly the methods of treatment are radio and chemotherapy.

Thus, brain cancers symptoms can both manifest and not, which makes it difficult to diagnose it. Therefore, in some cases, the disease is recognized only after the death of a person. However, in the early stages of the development of cancer, partial cure is possible, but usually a person lives after removing the cancer tumor for no more than five years.
