Who could disable Task Manager by the administrator?

The topic of our conversation was who could turn off the task manager by the administrator. Search for an answer to this question is required in certain cases. Let's figure out when it's necessary and what to do in this situation.

It sometimes happens that the Task Manager can not be enabled on the computer. It does not work the usual way of pressing the CONTROL AL DELIT and all the others. This tells us about the possible presence of virus or trojan software on a computer or laptop, which could disable the task manager.

To make sure of this finally, try the methods below. After the Combat ALT DELIT combination does not work, simultaneously press the CONTROL SHIFT ESCAPE keys. In case of failure, try to call the start menu, activate the execution console and enter the "taskmgr" command there. Finally, right-click on the taskbar with the right mouse button, then activate the task manager function in the shortcut menu. If, after each of the above-mentioned start-up options, you see a window that tells you that someone could disable the task manager by the administrator, then this is definitely viruses.

Why does the enemy software do this? And everything is very simple. This prevents the removal of the virus process by users launching Task Manager. Now I will tell you about the solution of this problem. Alternatively, you can download third-party software, which performs the same role as the disabled application. With it, you can complete the malicious process. But do not forget that when you install additional software, you load the registry again with the computer system. Therefore, it makes sense to perform some manipulations that allow you to do without additional programs.

In order to "nail down" the process that "dared" to disable the task manager by the administrator, start the start menu and select the command console that is already familiar to us. In it, enter the command "gpedit.msc", start it. The Group Policy window appears. In it, we move on to the section of the group policy itself, where we click on the policy of the local computer, then the user configuration, after it we are interested in administrative templates, in them the system and, finally, the possibilities of CONTROL ALT DELIT.

Now, by double-clicking on the manipulator, select the option to delete the Task Manager, thereby invoking the properties. There you need to set the switch opposite the value "Disabled", then click the "Apply" button. Reboot the laptop or computer.

The next step is to start the registry. To do this, start the start menu again, there the execution console and enter the command "regedit". If your registry is not blocked by malicious programs, you will see a corresponding window. If not, you will need to install software that is similar in its effect to the regular registry management service.

You should find a folder in the registry that is called [HKEY_CURENT_USERS / Softwares / Microsoft / WindowsCurentVersione / Polices / System]. In it, find the key responsible for disabling the dispatcher. Give him a new value that will be zero. You can also just delete this key. As you can see, if the virus can disable the task manager by the administrator, you will have to spend some time and make some efforts.
