The legendary castle "Swallow's Nest"
The city of Yalta is proud of this ancient building. "Swallow's Nest" in the XIX century was the estate of a Russian general, whose name is still unknown. The dacha was built on the very slope of the 40-meter high mountain Ai-Todor and previously was a wooden cottage.
Many famous artists wrote amazing paintings from him. After the death of the general, the estate was taken over by the court physician Tobin, who later gave it to his beloved wife. In 1903, the dacha was bought by an unknown merchant, and since that time the estate was called "Swallow's Nest".
