What should be the deviation of sewerage

To date, in each residential building there is a sewage system. If before the suburban areas were distinguished by the presence of a cesspool with a wooden house above it, now such structures are in the past. Fortunately, various options for sanitation allow a more civilized solution to the existing problem.

Anyone can install the sewage system. The main thing is to know several rules that will help to quickly cope with the task. Specialists note that the quality of the project (first of all) depends on the correct installation of sewer pipes. First of all, you need to be able to calculate the slope of the sewage system. The success of the work depends on the value of this parameter. Remember that the slope of sewerage is not a constant. The value of this indicator is calculated for each individual system, and sometimes for some of its sections. The value of the value itself depends on the velocity of the fluid.

The slope of the pipe must be made in the direction of the riser pipe, adhering to the optimum: from 4 to 7 cm / m. Too small a slope of the sewage system or too large threatens frequent clogging of the sewage system. To avoid such problems, it is necessary to make a bias within the limits of acceptable values, being guided by a specific case.

Be sure to take into account that the plastic sewer has the property of deforming or sagging, and this affects the slope of the sewer, reducing its value. Pay attention to the fact that in the new buildings the basement is settling over time, which also has a significant effect on the slope of the sewage system. Experts argue that the minimum slope of the sewerage system (horizontal section of it) should not exceed 2.0 cm / m. Only at this value does the process of self-purification of waste water fully work.

With a long horizontal section of the sewage system (more than 10 meters), the slope should be increased to 4 cm / m. If this value is not adhered to, the probability of pipe clogging increases due to a shortage of sewage and a low flow rate.

Also, experts recommend carefully monitoring the number of turns and joints in the sewage system. You should be aware that any joint or turn is a potential leakage or clogging system.

There are other subtleties of the sewerage installation process:

• it is allowed to join several types of pipes;

• Installation of plastic sewage requires the use of lubricant;

• all joints must touch each other firmly;

• the horizontal section of the system should not be moved into the riser at a right angle;

• it is necessary to make easy access to the revision of the sewer riser.

Connection to the centralized sewage system is the simplest way to drain wastewater from any living space. But there are rare exceptions, when you have to resort to more complex methods of solving the problem (it is a question of installing a special pump, which is a "forced" device for removing sewage from the house).

Typically, a sewer pump is installed only when the release from the house is below the connection point to the centralized system. In this case, a special pressure system is required, consisting of three components: a storage well, a forced sewer pump and connecting pipes.

Let's consider the main advantages of the forced cleaning system. First of all, the construction of forced sewerage does not take much time, energy and significantly saves the budget. Also, such systems do not require a constant angle of inclination of the pipes.
