What is the central nervous system pump?

A big popularity in the industry, the main purpose of which is oil production, acquired sectional pumps of the central nervous system, first appeared in early 1980. These pumps were designed to inject special aggressive waters into oil reservoirs. Also, hydrogen sulphide waters were introduced in them. Thus, within the reservoir with oil, a certain pressure was maintained, which is necessary for the extraction of this valuable substance.

After many years of studying the necessary documentation and materials, as well as taking into account the wishes of customers, the CNS 180 pump was upgraded by professionals in the design field. This was done in order to increase the service life, reliability and maintainability of the system. During the modernization, the following directions were changed:

1. A new flow system was applied, namely, newest impellers were introduced, which direct all the necessary equipment.

2. The CNS pump has purchased new end seals with a modern washing system. In some cases, packing glands have been modified to facilitate pump operation without leakage.

3. New rubber rings were installed, which are necessary to prevent erosion of the seats of the shaft and wheels.

4. Carbide-tipped rings were used in interstage seals.

5. A node was installed, which optimizes the unloading device.

6. As the nodes for the connection, the CNS pump acquired a flexible plate clutch.

7. A shear sensor was mounted on the axis with the alarm, which was activated after reaching the maximum permissible wear of the hydrotreater.

When creating all the newest nodes, software tools were used to simulate this or that process (or part). After checking all systems on CNC machines with high accuracy, the result was positive. In reality, all the characteristics have changed by only one percent. The upgraded central nervous system pump has acquired the following characteristics:

1. The work capacity was increased almost threefold.

2. The maximum allowed working area has been extended.

3. Increased efficiency in the operation area.

4. The external leakage, the level of vibration to the minimum mark, were also reduced.

5. Access to the necessary nodes has become easier.

6. The assembly system has become simpler.

7. The design of the pump has become much more attractive.

Currently, the production of these systems takes place in special workshops and departments that are equipped with the most modern devices. At all stages of creation, from the smelting of metals to the creation of parts, complete control over compliance with all necessary parameters is used.

The designers also proposed the idea of optimizing the CNS pump by installing new flow systems, which will help to translate the optimal feed rate by about 120 m3 / h. It is possible to make and so that the translation occurred at 240 mz / hour. Electric motors will be used in the past, not subjected to any changes.
