At each country after the lapse of any time there are the attributes-symbols. The Soviet Union had a lot of them, the country after all was huge. One such symbol is the wristwatch "Rocket", the production of which was a small coup in the history of a great country.

Historical digression

Watch "Rocket" USSR began production in the distant 1962. Then only returned from space Yuri Gagarin. To commemorate this most significant event, the production of these watches was arranged.

Traditionally, the plant produces various measuring instruments for the navy, and from the middle of the twentieth century, the Baltic and Pacific Fleet has also been provided with wrist watches on his shoulders.

Present day

The company that produced these truly legendary Soviet watches, works to this day, moreover, it continues to create more and more new models. It is noteworthy that, despite the running time, the "Rocket" watch retains some of its features, which were characteristic of the very first models, thereby emphasizing the great past. One of the novelties, for example, "Sailor".

The clock dial repeats the "Raketa" clock of the Soviet era: in 1969 the dial was proposed, in which it was not 12, but 24 hours, because it was not always clear in the sea, day after day or night. In addition, the dial is marked with divisions, marking the time of the watch, not only Russian, but also British, and Scandinavian. A brilliant clock can also predict the time of the ebb and flow, and thanks to the built-in miniature compass they will help to keep track of the course. Well, the last characteristic, which will give a complete idea of them: they stand immersion in the water to a depth of 50 meters.

Yes, it is possible to misjudge the real enterprise only on one model. Natalia Vodyanova also collaborated with the "Rocket", which worked on the clock in its own design. But it is noteworthy that the clock with the "Rocket" of the USSR with its disintegration has not been completely affected: they survived and perestroika, and now quite confidently keep in the motley world of watch companies, each of which and strives to become the best.

For lovers of antiquity, there is always the opportunity to purchase this rarity. Everything, of course, depends on the state of the clock: the degree of preservation, efficiency and other factors. For example, the model, which this year marks forty years, and it is still going (today such a capacity for work is only marveled), you can buy for 8,500 rubles. Still there are watches "Rocket" (USSR), whose cost varies from 20 to 30 dollars, but these deliveries will come from near abroad. Today the plant reports that it is releasing another copy of the legendary series "Oligarch" - a clock from Siberian rose gold.

Only 300 copies will come off the assembly line. The price of this exclusivity is 770 thousand rubles, not higher than the Soviet classics. In their creation takes part Jean-Claude René, former director of production of Rolex. And as for the rather cheerful name of the line, at first these exclusive clocks were so called by the workers of production, and then, when the name had already taken root, they decided not to change it, demonstrating for whom these things are still created.

Once they owned a lot of people, once they were considered an indispensable part of the existence of a decent Soviet citizen, and now they are replaced by mobile phones, where time is much easier to see than to understand arrows and figures, or foreign analogs.
