Ventilation in the sauna and sauna

Proper ventilation in the sauna and sauna is just necessary to create a climate that will really make the body healthier. Thanks to it, the room heats up more quickly, and a comfortable temperature is created inside. If the ventilation system is well thought out, then the bath and sauna building can last much longer, as it is not exposed to the destructive effect of fungi and mold.

Ventilation in the bath is usually a supply-exhaust. All the necessary ventilation holes are traditionally envisaged at the design stage of the building. If the building is located separately from the house, then in the basement it will be necessary to make outlets located on opposite sides. The device of the "white floor" requires laying boards with small slots, which should not exceed 5 millimeters. To improve air circulation, it is necessary to make ventilation holes located in different angles. They are usually covered with special ventilation grilles.

Ventilation in the bath can be ensured by using an excellent extractor such as an oven, provided that it is located directly in the bath room. The furnace outlet in this case should be located below the level of the "white floor".

This is not the only option, the ventilation design may look different. This is done by placing the air inlet behind the furnace below the floor level. So incoming air is heated, and the room does not cool. The wall opposite the furnace should be shaped with a pair of exhaust holes located in a certain way. One should be at a height of a meter from the floor level, and the second directly under the ceiling. They should be designed with latches and grills. Of these, air is taken directly to the roof or to the ventilation system.

Ventilation in the bath can be carried out by another very effective method. The inlet is located above the furnace, and the outlet is located below the entrance and on the opposite wall. However, in this case, the output must necessarily be equipped with a fan. This method assumes that the room is warming up very efficiently and quickly.

Since the air in the sauna is dry, the ventilation in this case is designed to ensure a sufficient level of air exchange, while the temperature should not decrease. Experts say that in the sauna the air should be changed about ten times within an hour. Usually place the ventilation holes above the stove at about 500 millimeters. An outlet is made under the ceiling of the opposite wall. However, it must necessarily be equipped with a latch. The inflow hole is left unregulated. In this case, the installation of ventilation systems does not present any complexity.

If the oven is placed in a steam sauna, the heater is ventilated at the expense of the stove, but this happens while the stove is burning. When the oven is located in the washing compartment, it is necessary to make ventilation in accordance with the following rules. Near the oven is a vent, located three meters from the floor. The exhaust hole is made on the opposite wall, it is placed three meters from the ceiling, and it must be equipped with a gate valve. If there is a need to improve air movement, then the exhaust hole can be equipped with a fan.

It is possible to consider inadmissible variants of the ventilation design of bathhouse premises. The exhaust holes can not be installed at the same level, as this will lead to the closing of air flows. The exhaust hole should not be placed in the ceiling, but the supply air in the floor, since such a structure contributes to a very long heating of the room.

Now you know how the equipment for ventilation of baths, and also what errors can be admitted at formation of ventilation system.
