Under the sign of the Bull: the history of the names "Lamborghini"

There is hardly anyone who has never heard of Lamborghini - this is one of the most popular automotive brands of our time. These cars are the standard of sports appearance, they are almost always at the top on speed, and also have very interesting names of models. It's unlikely that you ever thought about it, but every Lamborghini model always has a common detail - it's a bull.

Miura

"Lamborghini Miura" - this is one of the first full-fledged sports cars, which appeared on the market for quite some time. However, do not think that the name is directly related to the bulls - the car was born before the "Lamborghini" began to call their cars with individual bulls. In this case, the name went from the name of the friend of the creator of "Lamborghini", who was engaged in breeding bulls. In principle, it was the admiration for these wonderful creatures that led to the continuation of all the names of the models with the corresponding names, and the brand itself received an outstanding emblem.

Islero

After a certain period of time, when the Lamborghini was named after bulls, the company changed its direction, and now each car received the name of a famous bull, such as Islero. This famous bull killed one of the greatest bullfighters of Manolete during the bullfight - this happened very rarely, so the event turned out to be truly historical. I remember this bull also because he was executed afterwards, although in most cases the bulls that won were granted life, as they were strong enough to take the life of a bullfighter.

Daiblo

"Lamborghini Diablo" - this is one of the most famous models of this car, which can also be found in large numbers in a variety of racing games. However, this machine is called so not in honor of the devil, as many may think. Again, the name went from the bull, which was remembered for being able to hold out for many hours against one of the most famous bullfighters in the history of El Cicorro. Moreover, the famous breeder, Count Veragua, brought out and raised this bull, which makes this car even more impressive than many others who do not have such a rich history guaranteed.

"Murcielago"

But this name is the most interesting, because, quite possibly, it was based on a legend, not a real fact. Murcielago is a bull who, according to legend, in bullfight sustained 24 pricks with a sword and did not die after that. The battle was stopped, and the bullfighter gave the bull life for his stamina and stamina. There is also a possible continuation of this legend - Murcialago became a gift to the very Miura, which was discussed earlier - that's where the dynasty of Miura's best fighting bulls came from. As you can see, the "Lamborghini" has very interesting stories related to each of the names of models produced cars. Accordingly, you can learn a lot of new things if you decide to study the history of this brand yourself. Perhaps, after that you will want to buy one of these machines, but you should understand that such a masterpiece of automotive art will not cost you much.
