This tradition came to us about ten years ago from Western TV screens, where musicians, representatives of certain subcultures stretched the lobes of their ears, inserting rings into them. Our idea fell into the very soul of our people. The "tunnel" in the ear (and not only) has become an indispensable attribute of informal youth. And now some people have holes in their ears with rings in them - small, quite elegant, or frightening, through which half a street is visible. How to make "tunnels" in the ears?

This type of piercing is carried out in several stages. And these are the more stages, the more it is necessary to make a hole in the lobe. In the first procedure, the ear is pierced (if you have not had a piercing before) and an earring is inserted in the form of a rivet. After a while, as soon as the wound has healed, a "tunnel" is inserted larger, with an opening of approximately 2-3 mm. And so, gradually stretching the ear lobe, you insert rings of a larger diameter. This manipulation can take from several weeks to several months, everything depends on the ultimate goal. If there is a desire to have a "tunnel" in the ear more than two centimeters in diameter, then in this case an incision is made in the lobe or a small hole is cut out (all this is done under anesthesia). But such a wound will be longer and more painful to heal. Do not forget to treat fresh wounds with alcohol solution, so as not to get blood poisoning.
