The structure of the female body: anatomical and physiological features

The morphoanatomical difference between the two sexes has a specific name. In biology, this phenomenon is called sexual dimorphism. At the same time, the anatomical and physiological differences between men and women are quite extensive, which is due to genetic material, in particular, the presence of two X-chromosomes of the sexual type. This feature is the very first, it manifests itself already at the zygote level. In fact, this means that already at the level of one cell, from which the fetus will later develop, it is possible to judge the sex difference. However, it manifests itself only at the level of genetic material.

Anatomical structure of the female body

The biological role of women in the human population is the bearing of children and childbirth. In accordance with this system of women's bodies are maximally adapted to accomplish this process. In this case, in the anatomical structure is to identify the sexual organs. Due to differences in the structure and physiology of functioning, the floors differ from each other.

Among the sexual organs of a woman there is a division into external and internal. To internal organocomplexes include sexual glands, fallopian tubes, uterus, vagina. The first are glands with a mixed type of secretion, as they synthesize both sex cells and sex hormones that exert a physiological effect on the entire body of a woman. The uterus is the organ in which the fetus develops all the time. Some time after fertilization in the ampulla of the fallopian tube, the egg stays in its cavity. The delay in this anatomical education leads to an ectopic pregnancy, which the woman does not plan to wear. Therefore, with such complications of pregnancy, either its interruption or embryo transplantation is recommended, although this is a very complicated operation.

The uterus is a muscular organ that actively grows during the gestation of the fetus. It has a vault, body and neck forming the female genital tract. According to them, male sex cells penetrate into the peculiar expansion of the uterine tube, where the egg is fertilized.

The structure of the body of a woman submits to an important biological system, within which nature provides all the possibilities for the development of the fetus and for the birth. The main anatomical structure that actually forms the birth canal is the vagina. This hollow organ is located in the small pelvis, and its walls limit the mobility of the fetal head at birth.

Structure of the female body: external genital organs

To the external genital organs are mammary glands, large, and also small labia. The logic of nature, which formed the structure of a woman in the process of phylogenesis, is also in the possibility of feeding a newborn child with a high-energy product, which is the secret of the mammary glands - human milk. The process of its allocation is subject to physiological changes in the body of a woman. During pregnancy, the glands develop, and the secretory ducts begin to form excretory ducts that converge in the nipple area. It is controlled by the hypothalamic-pituitary system and the hormone prolactin. As soon as a woman makes a child, the lactation process starts, that is, the milk is extracted. Exclusively due to him, the child can eat for several months, and later it is necessary to start using instant porridges in his diet.

The structure of the female body includes also auxiliary genital organs located outside. This labia. Their function is to protect the vestibule from the penetration of pathogens. Moreover, in the labia majora there are special exocrine glands. They give off an aromatic secret. Its need in modern social conditions is not taken into account, since the development of the second human signal system . Earlier, the secret of these glands served as a verbal signal of readiness for mating. It is noteworthy that the structure of the female body is not distinguished only by the sexual organs, but has its own peculiarities in the physique, the model of thinking, the character.
