The medicine "Proposol" (aerosol) is considered to be quite effective and quick-acting means, allowing to alleviate the condition with dental diseases and ENT diseases. The active components of the agent are propolis, ethyl alcohol, glycerol.

The drug "Propofol" instruction refers to the category of combined anti-inflammatory drugs used locally. The medicine helps to accelerate wound healing, has virostatic, fungicidal and bactericidal activity. Characterizing the action of the tool "Proposol", the instruction indicates the properties of the components included in it.

Propolis includes biologically active elements, mineral salts, amino acids, organic acids. To this component, the resistance of strains of microorganisms does not develop. When using propolis, there are no abnormalities in the natural microflora or the development of dysbiosis. In addition, the component contributes to the improvement of metabolic processes, increased immunity (local), regenerative properties of tissues. Due to the phenols contained in the propolis, the vascular permeability and fragility decrease. Possessing anesthetic activity, the component facilitates the painful sensations accompanying various inflammatory processes of the oral cavity.

Glycerin has the ability to retain liquid. Thus, the component helps moisturize the mucous upper parts of the respiratory tract and mouth, preventing dehydration and reducing irritation.

Ethyl alcohol (ethanol) has a rather pronounced antiseptic effect. In the composition of the drug "Proposol" ethanol shows antiseptic and astringent effect with a slight irritation of the tissue.

With local use, the drug does not penetrate the bloodstream, does not have systemic influence.

The drug "Propofol" instruction recommends the use of inflammatory pathologies in dental and otolaryngological practice. The drug is allowed to be used as an independent drug, and as an additional component of complex therapy for tonsillitis (chronic including), glossitis, catarrhal gingivitis, stomatitis (catarrhal, ulcerative, aphthous).

The "Propofol" medication is recommended for use in irrigation of the oral cavity.

Before injection, remove the cap from the vial, attach the nebulizer to the valve. After injection of the nebulizer into the oral cavity, gently press for one to two seconds.

The drug "Propofol" can be used for irrigation of directly inflammatory foci. It is also possible to spray with simultaneous inhalation. Thus, the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat is irrigated.

After using the product, remove the nebulizer and close the valve with a protective cap. The bottle with the medicine should not be exposed to the influence of elevated temperatures. Spray after use should be washed in warm water (flowing), leave until completely dry.

The duration of the therapeutic course is determined by the attending physician for patients individually.

As a rule, adolescents and adults are advised to carry out irrigation no more than three times a day. A remedy is used until the acute symptoms of pathology are completely eliminated. After that, they pass to irrigation of the oral cavity no more than twice a day. Usually the duration of treatment is from three to seven days.

The use of the drug "Proposol" during pregnancy is allowed according to the doctor's prescription. During the period of gestation, the minimum therapeutic dosages are recommended.
