The main feat of Marat Kasey

Perhaps the ninth of May is one of the brightest and holy holidays for any person. Victory Day is one of the few days that can bring together not only all Russians, but even the inhabitants of France, Bulgaria, Ukraine and many other countries.

Media about the Great Victory

Some time before the holiday, many documentaries and programs about the Great Patriotic War are being shown on TV. An example can serve as a series of programs "Liberators", which was led by a famous actor Dmitry Dyuzhev. He interestingly and colorfully talks about different events of the war.

Heroes of the Pioneers

Many great books have been written about the exploits of the great warriors. Do not forget this. This article will tell you about a man who, without a second thought, gave his life for us all to go out and see the peaceful sky above our heads. First of all it is required to know the younger generation, because, unfortunately, the number of heroes every year is getting smaller.

Heroes-pioneers - those representatives of the pioneer community, who made a huge number of exploits. As far back as 1954, a list of these people was composed, consisting of twenty-two names. But today we will talk about one of them: you will find out who is the pioneer Marat Kazey, and what trace he left in the history of our country.

Birth of Marat Kazey

The future hero was born on October 10, 1929 in a small village of Stankovo, Minsk region. The choice of the name was made by his father Ivan, who was a convinced communist, and before that served in the Baltic Fleet. The name of the future hero was chosen in honor of the ship "Marat", on which the boy's father served.

The tragic fate of his father

Ivan Kazey was a Bolshevik to the core, his colleagues loved him very much. In addition, he supervised training courses for drivers of tractors and participated in a comradely court. Unfortunately, fate decreed tragically: in 1935 Ivan Kazey was arrested on charges of wrecking. By the way, the accusation was undeserved. As a verdict, a reference was made to the Far East. He was rehabilitated 24 years later posthumously.

The fate of the hero's mother

The verdict of Ivan Kazea also affected his wife: she was dismissed from her job and expelled from the institute. The children were sent to relatives. Marat Kazeya's mother was arrested, but released shortly before the war. Soon after her release, Anna went into the partisans.

The first Minsk partisans did not last long, as the Gestapo exposed them. After that all the underground were executed. Among the executed were the mother of 13-year-old Marat and his 16-year-old sister Ariadna. This event prompted young people to go to the guerrillas, where Marat Kazey fought until the end of his life. The feat, the brief content of which will be described below, forever inscribed the pioneer's name in history.

Marat joined the partisans

In 1942, Marat became a scout. His task was to penetrate the enemy garrison and extract valuable data, so that the guerrillas were able to repulse an important point in Dzerzhinsk.

The first feat of Marat Kazey

On the account of a brave boy - not one brave act. Thus, in 1943 the first feat of Marat Kasey was dated: he saved a detachment of his comrades from death. German troops surrounded the partisans, but Marat was able to get out, but not to save his life: he was able to bring help, and the enemy was defeated.

Toward the end of the same year, the feat of Marat Kasey was awarded an honorary award - the Order of the Patriotic War of the first degree, as well as medals "For Military Merit" and "For Courage".

The tragic death

In 1944 the operation "Bagration" begins, thanks to which Belarus was liberated from the fascist invaders, which Marat Kazey could not see. The Nazis went to the partisan detachment near the village of Horomitskie. A fight ensued, in which the partner of Marat immediately dies. The Germans surround him, hoping to take him prisoner. Soon, Marat ran out of ammo, then he makes a fateful decision: to undermine himself with a grenade.

To date, there are two versions that explain this feat of Marat Kasey:

  1. The pioneer hero did this to prevent a punitive operation in the village.
  2. To destroy the Germans.

Partizan was buried in the village in his small homeland. For heroism, he was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union in 1965. This is a short, but a full life lived Marat Kazey.

The summary of the biography of the hero is over. After the end of the Great Patriotic War, Sister Marat Kazeya returned to her home in Belarus. Having lost both legs during the struggle with the enemy in the partisan detachments, she nevertheless graduated from the institute and became a teacher. She died in 2008.

The memory of the exploits will live forever, although Ariadne and Marat Kazey have long since died. The monument to the hero was installed in the capital of Belarus in 1959, many streets in several countries are named after him.

Interesting fact

In 1965, when Marat Kazey was awarded the title of Soviet Union, it took his picture. Sister Ariadne found the best picture of her brother, which, ironically, was made by a German photographer, who was in the house of the future hero at the very beginning of the war. This photo can be seen in each encyclopedia.

This was the feat of Marat Kaseya. Do not forget your heroes and remember that without them we most likely would not have lived in peace now. The Great Patriotic War is a terrible event not only for Russia, but for the whole world. I really would not want this to happen again.

History does not know many such heroes as Marat Kazey. The feat, the summary of which is given in this article, should be an example of courage for all living people.
