Azarina climbing. Cultivation and care

If there is a need to decorate your garden with an elegant curling plant or to plant a balcony, experienced gardeners will prefer a flower such as Azarina climbing. Growing it does not cause difficulties and even novice flower growers. Spent effort will be rewarded with a beautiful adornment from a curling creeper with velvety green leaves and tubular flowers of blue, white, purple, lilac or pink.

Sunspots with well-drained soil - this is what Azarina prefers climbing. Cultivation of this plant is possible and in the shaded areas, because excessive heat and direct sunlight can burn the leaves. Stagnation of water in the soil and waterlogging of the soil are undesirable for the flower. Azarin responds well to fertilizing, so it is recommended to apply humus, mineral fertilizers, which guarantee abundant flowering throughout the season.

Azarina climbing feels great on neutral loamy soils. If she decorates a balcony or pergola, then you can plant the plant immediately in a pot. This is a one-year-old flower grown from seeds, but some species are able to transfer wintering in a greenhouse or other room with a temperature of at least 10 ° C. A two-year-old plant is sown in the ground in early summer.

Seeds are the main way in which Azarina breeds. Cultivation of the plant involves sowing seeds in early spring in pots. The soil is prepared from leaf land with compost, peat and humus. Seeds are only slightly pressed into the ground, but do not fall asleep, in one pot they can be three or four. Azarina rises slowly, but if after a month and a half shoots have not appeared, then they will not be. The optimum temperature for germination is 18-20 ° C.

Cultivation of asazine is possible and cuttings. For this, healthy shoots of the overwintered plant will be needed. Weak and rotten ones are removed, and healthy cuttings are placed in a mixture of sand and peat or simply in wet sand. Plants develop better in a room without drafts and on the sunny side: so they start up roots faster.

Azarin grows very quickly, so as soon as the first real leaves appear, it must be transplanted into a separate pot with a twig, which is used as a support. Only after the last frost is the climbing Azarina planted in the garden. Plant cultivation implies the presence of a strong support at the main landing site. You can make a strong wire net and plant flowers beside it. The distance between plants should be at least half a meter.

During the growth of Azarine, it is necessary to provide constant moisture, as well as feeding. If you want to achieve flower growth, you should pinch shoots. The plant perfectly hibernates on glazed loggias and balconies, at this time shoots greatly elongate, so they can be used on cuttings. It is necessary to monitor the young flowers, as they are often attacked by aphids. To get rid of it, you can use the infusions of garlic, pine needles, tansy, onion husks. Sometimes the plant is injured by a black leg, then from sick shoots it is necessary to get rid of, and the rest to process potassium permanganate.
