The "Macmirror" medication (tablets) is part of the pharmacotherapeutic group of antiseptic and antimicrobial agents used to treat diseases of the genito-urinary organs.

The main active component of the drug (nifuratel) determines the effectiveness of the drug in the fight against protozoal, bacterial and fungal pathogens.

The drug "Macmirror" (tablets) is nontoxic and has a wide spectrum of action. It has a harmful effect on microorganisms, which are the causative agents of diseases localized in the genitourinary system.

As a result of the conducted studies it was found that the mechanism of the drug effect is concluded in interaction with the enzymes of bacteria (anaerobic, aerobic, gram-positive, gram-negative). That is why it is advisable to prescribe it to fight salmonella, shigellosis and other intestinal infections. In addition, the drug "Macmoror" (tablets) is active against fungi of the genus Candida and Trichomonas vaginalis.

After entering the body, the drug is quickly absorbed from the gastrointestinal system. It is established that the drug penetrates the placenta, some of it is excreted together with breast milk. This agent leaves the body, mostly with kidneys (from thirty to fifty percent), which provides its antimicrobial effect in the urinary tract.

Indications for the use of the drug "Makmiror" are various kinds of vulvovaginal infections, the source of which are susceptible to this medication pathogens: Candida, Trichomonas, chlamydia and other pathogens. In addition, the drug is successfully used in the treatment of pyelonephritis, cystitis, urethritis, pyelitis, intestinal amoebiasis, giardiasis and eradication Helicobacter.

For the treatment of vulvovaginal infections adult patients are shown from four to six tablets per day (400 milligrams per session). The drug should be used after eating. On average, the therapeutic course lasts a week. If there is no desired effect, treatment can be continued. To eliminate infections in the urinary tract is recommended to take three to six tablets per day (depending on the nature of the disease). Duration of treatment is from one to two weeks.
