The main active substances of the preparation "Immunal", the instruction to which it describes as a medicament of immunomodulatory action, are exclusively herbal ingredients. The juice of Echinacea purpurea is the main active ingredient, which contributes to the improvement of blood production in the bone marrow and the activation of immunity, which causes the production of an increased number of leukocytes and other protective blood cells. Thus, under the influence of the preparation "Immunal" - the instruction states - all protective intracellular mechanisms start acting more efficiently.

The formation of antibodies to herpes and influenza viruses causes active components that provoke immune defense at the cellular level, as a result of which the patient receives increased protection from infection with characteristic infections.

The form of the preparation is in the form of drops and tablets for internal use.

Indications for the use of a medicament for the purpose of strengthening immunity are:

• Chronic form of infectious diseases of the genitourinary system;
• Preventive measures to prevent influenza and colds (sore throat, runny nose, cold);
• Increase in unspecific resistance of the body (herpes, influenza);

To get a positive therapeutic effect, you need to take the Immunal medication within seven to ten days. It is possible to repeat the course after a two-week break.

The drug can be used along with antibiotics, as well as other curative antimicrobial agents. The expressed incompatibility of the drug with immunosuppressants is evident from the mechanisms of its effect on the body. It is not recommended simultaneous use with certain cephalosporin derivatives because of the content in the preparation in the form of drops of ethanol, which can change the effect of the above medications.
