The consumer market is a part of our daily life

Each of us often have to go to the store for food, clothing and other goods. And also a common thing for a person is to visit a hairdresser, fitness club, cafe, resort to the services of a travel agency. Therefore, each of us is part of a market relationship.

What is the consumer market

This is a set of relationships that arise between buyers and sellers of various goods, services, works. People buy themselves various goods for personal consumption. The main goal of the consumer market is the satisfaction of needs and user service.

Markets can be divided into species according to different signs.

There is a classification of the object that is offered to the consumer:

The market of consumer services can be classified according to their type:

What influences the changing markets

The development of the consumer market is reflected in the functioning of the sphere of trade and services. The growth of incomes of the population causes structural changes in the markets. This is reflected mainly in the shift in consumer demand from food to non-food products. More began to buy construction products, phones, tablets, household appliances, shoes and clothes, furniture, jewelry etc.

Networks of retail facilities are expanding and developing in the following areas:

  • Trade objects of large formats are opened. This is super- and hypermarkets. In them you can buy almost everything you need.

  • Consumer lending is developing so that the buyer can buy expensive goods.
  • There is a re-profiling of markets in modern retail facilities. Conditions are created for agricultural producers to directly sell their products in the markets.

In the Moscow region, the Ministry of Consumer Market and Services regulates the activities of the sphere of trade, services and catering. And also in the sphere of his control include funeral services, alcohol trade, lottery sales, wholesale, household services.

This management body aims to raise the level of trade turnover, promote healthy competition, saturate the market with goods, stabilize prices, etc.
