The Chilean government declassified the video and issued a report on the observation of an unidentified flying object that occurred more than two years ago.

The nine-minute video was shot by a helicopter from the Chilean Navy at an altitude of 1370 meters along the coast between the port of San Antonio and Quintero on November 11, 2014. The infrared camera detected an unknown object that was flying at a similar helicopter speed, that is, about 244 kilometers per hour.

Two experienced officers of the Navy, who were on board at that time, also saw a UFO. One of the officers told the investigation that the object had a "flat elongated structure with two thermal projectors that did not coincide with the axis of motion."

The most bizarre is that the thermo-sensitive infrared cameras were able to fix, as near the object appears a loop of unidentified hot material, at least twice.

The officers contacted two radar stations in an attempt to identify the object, but none of them could detect it. Before they could find out what it was, the object disappeared into the clouds.

After two years of investigation, conducted by a group of leading scientists and aviation technicians, CEFAA (the Chilean aviation agency) seems never to have come close to unraveling.

In their statement, the agency's representatives say: "Some analysts suggested the hypothesis that the object is a medium-sized aircraft, and a train of unidentified material is a supply of water inside the apparatus, thrown out by the crew. Nevertheless, meteorologists argue that neither the height at which the object moved, nor the temperature of the surrounding air at that time could contribute to such a wave of condensation. "
