The biography of actor Valentina Zubkova

The filmography of Soviet actor Valentina Zubkova includes over forty works in the cinema. He was remembered more by the pictures devoted to the Great Patriotic War. The biography and the creative path of the Soviet cinema actor Valentina Zubkova is the topic of the article.

He played predominantly episodic roles. I came to the cinema without having a special education. Valentin Zubkov, whose biography ended in 1979, could play many more interesting roles. But the family tragedy shattered the artist's health.

Fighter pilot

Zubkov Valentin Ivanovich - an actor who turned out on the set, it would seem, by accident. The future artist was born in 1923, in a simple peasant family. He dreamed of becoming a builder, erecting beautiful high-rise buildings. However, when Zubkov turned nineteen, the war began. She ruthlessly broke human destinies, changing plans, destroying dreams. But if it were not for the war, the actor Valentina Zubkova would never have seen a spectator in such famous films as "The Cranes Are Flying", "Ivan's Childhood".

In 1942, the future actor graduated from the flying school, received the profession of a fighter. Zubkov reluctantly told about these years. A hero like those who were dedicated in the postwar years of the book and the film, he did not. I just did my duty honestly.

Nina

After the war, Zubkov met a girl who later became his wife. With Nina Valentin Ivanovich lived more than thirty years. Their family happiness could last longer. However, Zubkov himself could not endure the common grief that the actor's wife could survive. Valentine and Nina lived peacefully. The first years of their happiness was overshadowed only by the fact that a woman could not conceive. Seven years after the wedding, a long-awaited son was born in the family of Valentine Zubkov.

The beginning of the creative path

Everything in their life was measured. Home, family, child. The only thing that distinguished Zubkov from other employees of the organization in which he worked was a selfless love of theater, cinema and amateur performances. Zubkov read monologues and poems from the stage. He was one of the brightest participants of art productions in the local circle.

One day a theater director came to see one of the performances. He saw a tall, handsome man with an open, kind face and advised him to try himself at the cinema. The theatrical figure also noted that Zubkov should not count on the main roles. But the actor of the second plan, the participant of amateur art can become, no doubt,. Valentin Ivanovich was not excessively ambitious. In addition, he selflessly loved theater and cinema. And therefore the idea of playing at least one episodic role in the movie, incredibly inspired him.

Valentin Zubkov listened to the advice. He began to attend trials, castings, as is now customary to say. His face attracted the director Konstantin Yudin. After an episodic role in the film "Twins", he was increasingly invited to shoot. Zubkov became an actor in the second plan. One of those whose names the spectator does not remember, but without which a great movie is unthinkable. In which pictures did Valentin Zubkov play?

Films

In the late forties, the actor starred in the films "Twins", "The Russian Question". Zubkov's first significant work was the role of Stepan in the film "The Cranes Are Flying." Before the release of this brilliant picture on the screens, Soviet viewers associated the actor with the image of the kulak that he created in the film "Communist", that is, with the character negative.

But Kulidzhanov, despite this, invited Zubkov to test. The role of Stepan is one of the brightest in the artist's work. No matter how talented the game of Alexei Batalov is, Zubkov does not give him much inferiority. Thanks to his hero, the image created by Batalov becomes more convex, expressive. Among other films, in the filming of which Valentin Zubkov took part, it is worth mentioning the following:

  1. "Over the Tissa."
  2. «May stars».
  3. "Father's house".
  4. "Northern story".
  5. "Evdokia".
  6. "The day of happiness."
  7. "Ivan's childhood."
  8. "Train of mercy."
  9. "I'm a soldier, Mom."

"Ivan's Childhood"

In the early sixties Andrei Tarkovsky began work on a new painting based on the story of V. Bogomolov. The role of Captain Kholin in the film "Ivan's Childhood" was played by Zubkov. The audience saw him for the first time in the image of a complex man. The actor has proved that it can not only be betrayed by positive friends or vivid villains, but also by more controversial characters. Actor Valentin Zubkov was not so simple, as his colleagues perceived at the beginning of his creative career.

Family grief

In 1977, Zubkov's only son died. The young man was only twenty-three years old when, while walking on a boat, he drowned with his friend. Valentin Ivanovich survived his son for two years. After this tragedy of working in the cinema could not even be a question. A few months after the funeral, Zubkov was hospitalized with a heart attack. The actor passed away in 1979.
