Fortunately, there are many beautiful places in the world where you can have a wonderful time. So, among the inhabitants of the Urals and tourists deserved popularity is enjoyed by the Tal'k Kamen pond.

How to get to the lake?

The way to the destination passes through the Chelyabinsk tract. Before the traffic police post begins a turn on Kashino. Passing the village, the motorist goes to the city of Sysert. Talkov Kamen is located near the district center. First you need to get to the local bus station. Opposite the station there is a monument to soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War, and a little further there is a crossroads.

From Sysert go out along Timiryazev Street (at the intersection to the right). Outside the district center there is a pond into which the Black River flows . Not far from it there is Talc Stone. How to get to the lake if the bridge can not stand the weight of the car? Unfortunately, nothing at all. By car you can only reach the bridge, and then you will have to walk on foot, since the structure is defective. Pointers are placed along the road, so the probability of getting lost is zero.

One more variant of the route - from the southern bus station of Ekaterinburg to Sysert, and from there - by taxi.

Why is this region attractive?

Lake Talkov Stone is one of the most beautiful places in the region. The reservoir has the shape of an irregular polygon, surrounded by sheer greenish-white beaches. This is the color of talc, which is more than enough. A rare pine forest grows around Talcov Kamen , but steep cliffs rise to the water. The unusual color of the banks is transmitted and water smooth. The surface of the lake has a rich emerald shade.

In clear weather it seems that an unknown artist painted on the banks of an exquisite ornament. A cloudy day gives the impression that the neighborhood of the lake was chosen for its dark affairs by witches and sorcerers.

The mysterious lake is a favorite rest place not only for the residents of Yekaterinburg and the city of Sysert. Talkov Stone attracts tourists from other cities of Russia, near and far abroad. Not far from the reservoir there is a dacha "Uralochka", and the lake itself is a part of the Sverdlovsk regional natural park "Bazhovskie Places".

On the shore built gazebos, provided tables under the roof, sites for setting tents. Employees of the park sell firewood. If you do not want to spend the night in the forest, then you can spend the night in the hotel Sysert, and in the morning go to Talkov Kamen. How to get to the lake, tell the locals.

The lake is frequented by scuba divers. At the bottom of the mysterious reservoir went down in the Soviet times, when on the shelves of shops appeared light diving equipment. Today, diving lessons are available to all comers.

It is not recommended to sink independently, as there are piles of fallen tree trunks on the bottom , and talc particles float in the water. Natural obstacles not only hamper successful diving, but also pose a serious danger to life.

At the request of tourists, excursion groups are formed on Tal'kiy Kamen. How to get there To the place, decide during the trip. For lovers of outdoor activities are organized riding on quad bikes, horses, and in winter - on snowmobiles.

The origin of the reservoir

The history of the lake began in 1843 with the development of a talc deposit. Raw materials were required by local metallurgical plants. Talcum slate was mined for sixty years. During this time, a twenty-meter-long quarry was formed on the site of the future lake.

By the beginning of the twentieth century, enterprises began to use other raw materials, and the scale of talcum production decreased. The deposit was transferred to another settlement, and the old career was safely forgotten. The resulting space gradually filled with groundwater. So it turned out the lake.

Legends

Since Talc Kamen (how to get there, see above) is away from civilization, there are rumors about the incredible events taking place in these places. Even during the existence of the quarry, the watchman met with a ghost - a lady with a pale face and transparent eyes. The lady appeared from the destroyed gallery and went to meet the man. The frightened watchman began to run, six kilometers to the very Sysert.

Local people reacted differently to the story of the white woman. Someone believed, but someone decided that all this is fiction. However, since then, the glory of a mysterious and unclean place was fixed behind the lake.

For more than a hundred years, a legend of treasure has been living. The last owner of the Sysert Metallurgical Plants, Dmitry Solomirsky, was fond of collecting porcelain, carefully stored rare specimens of glassware. But ... it was 1917, and two years later the Bolsheviks reached Siberia.

Wanting to save a unique collection, the factory manager of Mokronos decided to drown expensive porcelain in a mysterious lake. Water dishes are not terrible, and the reservoir itself was considered dangerous, so you could not be afraid of the property's safety. People were afraid to visit Talc Stone. How to get to the lake, no one was interested.

History is considered a legend because of some contradictions. It is unclear why the treasurer kept the manager, and not the owner of the jewelry. At the same time, eyewitnesses claimed that the carts were leaving the yard of Solomirsky.

Bad rumors about the lake used the Bolsheviks in their own interests, arranging on the shore of the Mayakovka. As the lake turned into a tourist object, the myths were forgotten, and the question "How to get to Talcov Kamen?" Again became relevant.

Climatic features of the area

The typical climate of the Urals is continental. Air masses from the Atlantic Ocean meet the barrier in the form of the Ural Mountains. The western slope is moistened better than other parts of the ridge, since the first one meets cyclones.

Precipitation is distributed unevenly not only by region, but also within each region. In the west of rain and snow, approximately 100 millimeters more than in the east.

The cold season in these parts lasts from November to April. The warmest month is June (about +18 ° С), the coldest one is February (-13 ° С). Extreme temperatures are forty degrees of heat in summer and thirty-nine below zero in winter.

Winds are blowing mainly from the west, south-and north-west directions are more rarely recorded.

Flora and fauna

Since Talc Kamen is a standing pond, there is no fish in it. Inhabitants of the lake are daphnia, rotifers, mollusks, beetles, hairy whales, leeches, crayfish, larvae of the peristome mosquito. On the surface run bugs, waterers. In the lake, mild vegetation prevails, mainly elodei and pondy. River reeds grow on the water.

Primitive plants and animal organisms constitute phyto- and zooplankton, which causes flowering.

Minerals

In 1927, the production of talc was stopped at the site of the future lake, but valuable rocks have survived to this day: chlorite schists with quartz crystals, talc shales with dark dolomite, noble white-green talc, etc. (more than twenty minerals). In Sysert and other cities in the region, copper and iron ore were mined in their time.

Today mining of minerals in the vicinity of the Talcum Stone is not conducted, because the lake is declared a natural monument.
