Syndrome of premature aging

Premature aging can develop at the genetic level. This is a disease of progeria. Also, the occurrence of a condition can be affected by factors that are not related to genes.

Progeria

The syndrome of premature aging is extremely rare. This fatal disease of a genetic nature develops only in children. The syndrome of premature aging is detected in approximately one child from four to eight million newborns. The likelihood of the disease is the same for both girls and boys.

Newborn children who are diagnosed with premature aging syndrome look healthy enough. However, when they reach ten to twenty four months old, they have symptoms of progeria.

Among the main signs of the disease should be noted:

- a sharp slowdown in growth;

- baldness;

- weight loss;

- stiffness in the joints;

Generalized atherosclerosis.

Despite the fact that the syndrome of premature aging can be detected in children belonging to different ethnic groups, the patients are surprisingly similar. As a rule, patients rarely live more than twenty years. The average life expectancy of such patients is about thirteen years.

Children with progeria are susceptible genetically to premature progressive cardiac pathologies. In almost all cases, the lethal outcome is due precisely to these diseases. Cardiovascular complications include stroke, hypertension, heart failure, angina.

Premature aging of non-genetic origin

With natural aging, corresponding to the elderly, almost everyone manages to reconcile. However, when premature aging occurs, the condition becomes a serious problem. Women are very sensitive to the development of this state.

Under the influence of certain factors, premature skin aging, then internal systems and organs, first appears. As a result, often the actual age of many people is significantly less than biological age.

Early aging of the skin manifests itself in different ways. As a rule, the cover becomes wrinkled, dry, the swelling of the lower and upper eyelids, the lowering of the corners of the mouth.

The main reasons for the development of the condition, in the first place, include the lifestyle, diseases, climate, nutrition, as well as the state of the environment.

Among the types of aging of the skin, photo-aging is also distinguished. The condition develops as a result of inadequate hydration and an overabundance of solar exposure. It should be noted that it is impossible to fill the concentration of moisture in the skin, simply by consuming a large volume of liquid. For it, it is necessary to use special means, in the properties of which - the ability to retain water molecules.

One of the destructive factors is smoking. As you know, it helps to narrow the blood vessels, depriving the body of oxygen. As a result, the upper skin layer does not reach nutrients, it begins to break down, succumbing to the action of free radicals.

Penetration of toxins can paralyze important body functions, which, in turn, will provoke a lack of necessary products in the skin.

Experts pay great attention to vitamins. You should remember about the right, balanced diet, containing healthy foods.

The state of the skin is influenced by psycho-emotional factors. In the conditions of modern, often stressful, life, the organism is depleted very quickly. In this case, it is necessary to pay attention to the regime of the day, to control working hours and rest periods.

Thus, it is possible to prevent early aging not only of the skin, but of the whole organism.
