Development of the baby. The second trimester of pregnancy brings a very rapid growth of the baby. At the thirteenth week, the length of the fetus is about 10 cm, and the weight is about 100 grams. By the 24th week the length is already 30cm, weight up to 700g. The kid feels well, he is comfortable, there is still plenty of room. It is already formed, with the correct anatomical structure of a little man. Fetal development is very active , all organs begin their work. The baby swallows the amniotic fluid, thereby provoking the work of the intestine, the original feces appear. By the end of the trimester, the baby actively moves and is already able to react to touching the abdomen with his mother or father, hears sounds and discerns the voice of his mother. A child born on the 24th week has a chance to survive, but only in ideal and adapted conditions.

The second trimester of pregnancy brings new, incomparable sensations - the first movements of the fetus! It always causes a rush of joy for mom, there is an unlimited feeling of love for your baby. Although the baby is already moving from a period of seven weeks, my mother begins to feel it in the period of 14-26 weeks. Muscles of the uterus already giving birth to a woman are more subtle, so she will feel the movements even earlier. The time of the first shocks of envy and the physique of the mother. A slimmer mother will feel the movements earlier than the owner of a magnificent figure.

The absence of perturbations causes concern. This fear is quite understandable, mother worries about her baby. But it is worthwhile to understand that although the fetus moves without interruption, only very strong tremors are sensitive to the mother. And if the baby is still lying so that all his movements are directed inward? Such activity will be noticed much later. And it's possible that the kid shows his activity at night, when his mother is fast asleep. So, the period of appearance of the first movements is very individual. Regular movements will appear only after 28 weeks.

Eating a pregnant woman in the second trimester. At this time, the appetite improves. There are no special prohibitions, there are only recommendations. It is necessary to reduce the consumption of smoked food, various marinades and coffee. At this stage, the body needs an abundance of protein and various vitamins, it is important for the development of the child. Therefore, the daily menu necessarily includes fish in any form, a variety of dairy products, and most importantly - cottage cheese. It is recommended to consume fresh fruits, greens, vegetables.

More than half of women who are registered for pregnancy have a lack of vitamin C and folic acid, and the second trimester of pregnancy must necessarily be provided with these elements for normal development of the fetus. That's why you should not avoid taking special vitamin complexes prescribed by a gynecologist who watches a woman, especially now they give out recipes for their free receipt almost everywhere.
