Cain and his squad descend into the mining mines to block all the passes for the orcs underground and find several miners who suddenly disappeared. However, those whom he finds in the ice caves are much worse than the huge green orcs ...

The third book was called "The Game of the Traitor". This time, poor guy Cayafas Cain was not lucky even more: despite the won battles with the orcs, tyranids and rebels, he can not fight with himself - he falls in love with the inquisitor Amberley Vail. Moreover, he still has to stand in a clash with the demon Slaanesh and the paratroopers of Chaos.
