Russian midfielder Igor Kireev

Igor Kireev is a Russian football player who currently plays for Rostov. Soon he will be 25 years old, and he will enter the most optimal stage of football development. Igor Kireev acts on the right midfielder and right winger, but can also be used as a central forward.

Carier start

Igor Kireev was born on February 17, 1992 in the Russian city of Zheleznogorsk, where he started playing football. However, the prospects were not there, so at the age of 12 Igor went through a viewing in Moscow's "Spartacus", where he was received. For four years, he played for youth teams, and in 2009 made his debut in the double of Spartak. Igor Kireev spent 19 matches in the first season for a double, having noted two goals, in the next two seasons he also received enough game practice, having played 46 more matches and having distinguished himself with seven goals. However, for the first team for all this time he spent only one match, so in 2012 was given to "Rostov", which also considered this player as a reservist.

Career in "Rostov"

If in the duplicate of "Spartacus" Igor Kireev (a football player who was a pupil of this club) received enough game practice, then in the double of "Rostov" the situation worsened. In his first season he entered the field only eight times, and in the second - 13, but in the second he played only half of the season. The club management decided that it would be better to give the young player a lease to see what he is capable of. So, in winter 2014 Kireev was in "Spartacus", but not from Moscow, but from Nalchik. There he spent 12 matches, scored three goals and made a good impression. In the summer of the same year, he was sent to Perm in the Amkar, where he started quite well. He went to the field 15 times, scoring two goals, but after that he got the most serious injury of a football player - the cruciform ligament rupture. As a result, he was treated for six months, having transferred a complex operation in Germany.

Current status

Returning to "Rostov", Kireev made his debut in the main team, coming out for a replacement for just one minute. After that, he was always in reserve, but so never again was not called on the field. In the current season, the situation began to change little by little - Igor played 11 games, and almost everything started in the starting lineup. He even made his debut in the Champions League, coming on as a substitute in the qualifying match against Anderlecht, and then being in the starting lineup for the group stage match against Atletico. So, perhaps, in a short time Kireev will play at a qualitatively new level.
