Russian football player Valery Kechinov: biography, achievements and interesting facts

The football history of any country includes high-profile wins, the triumph of great clubs, legends of great football players. In the 90 years in our country, football was associated with the Moscow "Spartak". The team, headed by Oleg Ivanovich Romantsev, dominated the football Olympus of Russian football. Players of this club were idols of boys, surrounded by a halo of secrecy. One of those was Valeriy Kechinov, a footballer with amazing technique, but due to various circumstances he never fully realized his rich playing potential.

Childhood

Valery Kechinov was born on August 5, 1974 in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent. In fact, his life was predetermined from birth. His father, Viktor Petrovich Kechinov, is a landmark figure in Uzbek football. At one time he defended the colors of the leading Uzbek club - the Tashkent "Pakhtakor". After the end of his playing career, Viktor Petrovich remained in big football, though in a slightly different capacity. He became a football referee, while simultaneously engaged in coaching. He was the first coach of his son, who systematically led to the debut in adult football.

Football debut

1991 was marked for domestic football as the year of the last championship of the Soviet Union. The disintegration of the USSR led to the creation of internal competitions, where the level of struggle and skill of individual teams was much lower than in the Allied Championship, which was one of the five leading European contests.

In the same year 1991, Valery Kecinov played for the duplicate composition of Pakhtakor. He played so bright that he attracted the attention of the coaches of the USSR youth team, which included the winner of the prestigious international tournament, the Granatkin memorial. In the same year, there was a debut in the main team of Pakhtakor, he came to the cup match with the Lipetsk Metallurgist. It became clear that a new star was lighting up on the football sky.

Valery Kechinov: biography. The star of Uzbek football

As it was said above, since 1992 in each union republic began to be held its own championship. In Uzbekistan, the flagship of local football was rightly considered "Pakhtakor", which won the first national championship. Especially stood out in the team 18-year-old Valery Kechinov, in the year of his full debut in adult football became the best scorer of the national championship. It was clear to everyone that a young player who scored 30 goals in 38 matches will not stay for a long time in the championship of Uzbekistan. Over time, it happened.

Transition to the Russian Championship

After spending brightly his first season at the adult level, Valery Kechinov was in the spotlight of scouts of many clubs, both Russian and foreign. In particular, the Moscow Dynamo and Valery Gazzaev, who at that time trained the club, showed special interest in Kecinov.

But the most persistent in terms of negotiations were the Moscow "Spartak", who managed to convince the young football player to pursue a career in this club. In the summer of 1993 Valery Kechinov moved to Moscow.

Moscow "Spartacus"

The transition to the capital club was not as smooth as we would like. Heads of Pakhtakor, despite the fact that the contract of the football player with the club ended, did not want to let Kechinov go to another club. As a result, the second half of the 1993 season, Valery just trained with Spartak, unable to participate in the official games. And it was not until the end of 1993 that documents came from Uzbekistan authorizing the player to play for Spartak.

It would seem that all the obstacles are behind us and we can safely prove our worth. But Valeria was waiting for a new misfortune. During the pre-season charges in a friendly game against the Kiev Dynamo Valery Kechinov gets a serious injury, which left him for a season without football.

Return to big football

Due to a number of circumstances Valery Kechinov flew almost a half of the season. Many were rather pessimistic about its ability to play at a high level. The first full season, held as a player of the main structure of "Spartacus", was not entirely successful in terms of place in the standings. The team in that season for the first time in the history of the Russian championships lost gold medals to the players of the Vladikavkaz "Alania".

But there was also a positive moment: "Spartak" triumphantly performed in the group stage of the Champions League, Oleg Romantsev's team won six wins in six matches held. It would seem that in the spring of the European campaign, "Spartacus" can achieve a lot. However, the difficult financial situation in which the entire Russian football was located, and Spartak in particular, forced Muscovites to sell a number of leading players to foreign clubs. As a result, in the spring, "Spartacus" lost in a two-legged confrontation with the French "Nantes", although potentially the team could achieve a lot.

In 1996, the club was headed by Georgy Yartsev, and a young team under his leadership regained the title of the strongest in Russia. In a gold duel, she beat last year's champion - the players of "Alania".

Kecinov became the main player of "Spartacus", showing himself in several positions. Starting as a clean striker, in "Spartacus" he managed to play and on the right midfield, and a clean striker, and in the center of the field.

In 1998 Valery Kechinov again got a leg injury, tearing cruciate ligaments. And again ahead of the heavy recovery, and again the lost season. Having recovered from this injury to the season of 2000, Valery Kechinov turns out to be not necessary for Oleg Romantsev, who saw other players in his place. Parting with "Spartacus" was inevitable. In total, for the Moscow club Kechinov spent 112 goals, scoring 35 goals in them.

Further career

Not getting into the main part of "Spartacus", Valery began to consider various options for continuing the football career. Particularly realistic was the option of signing a contract with one of the leading clubs in Israel, but ultimately the parties did not agree on the price, and the option with the continuation of a career abroad had to be forgotten. As a result, Kechinov was in the suburban "Saturn", in which he played a half season.

Then followed a trip to Yaroslavl, where the local "Shinnik" football player played in three seasons, but another injury put an end to his desire to continue his playing career. As a result, at the age of thirty, Valery Victorovich Kechinov, whose biography is presented to the attention of the reader in the article, decides to end his career as a professional football player.

Prefabricated countries

All of his football career Valery Kechinov was considered a gifted, potentially very strong player. But apparently the fate of technical players is such that throughout the career they are pursued by injuries of varying severity. So Kechinov could not become the main player of the team because of injuries. In his active six matches for the Russian national team with two goals scored. But especially for fans, his goal scored during the performance for the youth team of Russia was remembered. In the game with the German national team Kechinov Valery scored the ball after the solo passage, having beaten half of the German national team on the way.

Personal life

Is Valery Kechinov married? His wife is still unknown to the public. It is rumored that he is an avid bachelor, and has not yet tied himself up by marriage. But in the media there was a leak of information that he lives under one roof with some Inna, and they bring up Semyon's son together.

Coach career

After the end of playing career Valery Kechinov tried himself in the coaching field. Together with his partner in Spartak in the mid-90s, Miroslav Romashchenko, he led the backup team for three years. Also in his active work as the second coach in Tomsk "Tom" in tandem with the same Romashchenko. At the moment Valery is engaged in his own business, alternating work with games for the veterans of "Spartacus."

This is the fate of one of the most talented players of Russian football in the 90s. Despite six gold medals of the Russian Champion in football, there was a certain understatement, the feeling that Kechinov could achieve much more, leave a brighter mark in national football, but a series of injuries prevented this from happening. Despite everything, one of the favorite players in the football world is Valeriy Kechinov. The biography, the statistics of this person simply impresses all his fans. This is the person in the world of football, from which it is worthwhile to take an example to young generations!
